hi harley, because of this thread, i order a wraith kit. i hope you can help me with my questions. i wanted this to be fast but don't want to brake the stock parts.
1. for sensored brushless setup, im choosing between 13.5t and 17.5t, i like the way your 13.5t power but it damages a lot of parts, is there a big difference between 13.5t and 17.5t in terms of speed? hows the 17.5t compare to stock 20t motor in terms of speed?
There will be a noticeable difference in speed. You will see similar parts issues with either system. Brushless motors have a considerable amount of power.
2. are you familiar with hobby wing xerun sensored brushless? is it good?
They are not a great choice for a crawler because of the braking on them. I would suggest staying with the brands I recommended.
3. should i change the stock gearing if ill run 13.5t or 17.5t?
Going to 32p gears helps durability
4. why cant i find vanquish products on ebay? where can we buy it online using paypal?
Vanquish sells through certain dealers, those dealers are not on ebay. You can buy VP parts through many places using paypal, including direct from them.
5. you have mention in your earlier post how to beef up the drive shafts using two female shafts in the output and super glue it on the male, do you have picture or illustration for this?
I don't. It's not a method I used, it's just a thing we used to do a long time ago with other shafts.
6. i have a futaba BLS 351 and 352 servo, are these enough power for the wraith? which one is best suited for the wraith? should there be a need of external BEC?
Those servos are pretty low on power, around 200oz/in or under, but they will work. The 351 is probably best since the 352 is a high speed helicopter servo and may not be up to the stresses of crawling. A BEC is always a good idea.
7. what cms kit that has greater performance than the stock axle mounted servo?
The CMS kit is for scale apearance, not better performance.
thank you so much harley!"thumbsup"
