Vanquish VS4-10 Origin Limited Build/Thoughts Issues

that link at an angle may be adding a little twist to the shift arm.

can you shim your servo out a bit so your linkage is parallel with chassis centerline?

There is no room, the servo arm barely misses the frame rail as it is.

Here is a video of the DIG in action!

Cool video! I'm thinking I may need to add the DIG to mine.

you may be able to find a clevis type connector for large scale airplanes that you could use to straighten out the link for your dig.

I was finally able to get Q-Pods (A-Main cancelled my backorder, but Vanquish had them available on their website). This things are crazy bright!

I have the Knight Custom gauge parts and LEDs for it, but am pretty unsure how to make that look right (i.e. how to make gauge faces such that just the correct parts will light up).

If it's clear parts, paint them then sand/scrape the paint off the raised edges. Then paint the raised parts with translucent paint or ink (sharpies).

Good video showing the technique:

Hey, rohrej: great build. I'm considering using a VS4-10 body on my first project: getting a lot of inspiration from this. How did you cover the body holes so nicely? Can't even tell they were ever there. Seems like most just leave the body posts and clips, but dang they drive me nuts and the clear bodies come predrilled :( And what did you use to mount, ring magnets? velcro? Sorry if these questions are too newb'ish!!!
