Jato Gets Offerings to Build the Teal Terrifier H10 Optic

Thank you! Yeah the Optic is the hot kit right now it seems. It’sa pretty fun build. Won’t be fun to work on with the 12 screws you have to remove in order to completely disconnect the cage from the skid plate and the shocks. But I just love the look of the Optic. Best looking buggy kit ever IMO. I’m excited to drive it. Performance doesn’t seem great though because of the long wheelbase and big skid plate, but should be fun for trails
Its actually not that hard a all. Pull off the side panels and undo the 3 buttonhead screws on each side, then the undo the top screws from the shocks and the cage pops right off.

With an electric driver it isnt so bad. Beats working on a bomber or wraith. Hell id rather do that than take the body pins out of my jl body equipped vs410 pro.

I think this depends on your local terrain.

With our group we usually go through dirt trails and some with rocks and technical features. From what I've seen from the RTR optic, it's long wheelbase is at an advantage on steep climbs and side hills as the CG is relatively low. It certainly outperformed my Phoenix Portal on some climbs.

I also think disadvantages of the long wheelbase could be balanced out with tires larger than the typical 4.75" diameter since it would aid in breakover angle.
