Yeah, its so so.. :)

With that, I ran it out on the rocks with flash light in hand.. its working great! For steering.. I didn't have any knuckle weight on an still crawled really well. With all the extra up front, it doesn't need as much weight as it had before.. which was only a 2oz Dlux weight.. I'm thinking maybe half that, per side.
With current setup, it doesn't steering to full available steering.. I boiled it down to the steering arms. Tie rod an drag link, more so the drag link, adjusted to get full use of the steering an I still can't get all of it! Wahahahaha..... So I'm thinkin the only way to get more is to go with the second hole back on the CW arm or put the wraith arms on..
either way I took some measurements.. I didn't write them down, but from memory.. my steering in a half circle from the wall out was 32"-33" give or take a touch.. new steering after multiple runs, I'm getting a radius of 27.75" !

I want to clock the chubs another notch, narrow the track width, an still thinkin of running ud in the rear..
Also found the universals to be a little looser then the lcc cvd's but with the added steering an ud, that won't bother me much..

Ok, after another pack I have noticed the xr axle housing just glides over the rocks. I was worried they would hinder cause of the extra loss of ground clearance but if anything it makes it even, there bigger but don't catch on the rocks like the little mrc axle housings. Very smooth.

I watched ur videos a few pages back..

Two suggestions if I may
Lay your shocks back one hole maybe...
And BOIL your rear torsion plates... It'll soften it up n flex nice n smooth!

Looks good tho otherwise!

I never did see any measurements on ur xr mod tho for housing
And axle lengths..

Yeah, I have to get some updated video..

At the time of the video it was new an stiffer then now
It was only 7.5" long, wheel base.
No knuckle weight or lockout weight
The shocks are back in a hole in the chassis, not in a pre planned shock hole.. they were full sized pro shocks limited 11mm. lol, it was a mess an on the rocks!

Since then all the mods have taken place an loosened up some..

I'll get more video once I get It out an the front axle figured out.

At this point the xr axle pieces are 39.5mm or 1.55" long.. I'm not sure bout the axle shafts but I cut to fit. I cut a good inch plus off of them.. when I get final finish, ill post..

Side note: t3rry made a diy video in his thread, then changed a bunch of it. The main part of smoothing the mrc axle housing an drilling the xr axle housing is the most important part. The rest is up to you, track width, ur wheel offset, etc.. I started with the widest track width possible.. making shorter is always the easier, cheaper option..

this thing is a crazy little beast. cracks me up!! I dont know if i have seen a more MODDED mrc EVER...

looks killer!

Thanks Ryan.. minus the one of a kind(torsion) prototype chassis its all pretty common stuff isn't it?
It's deff my most modded mrc.. an I doubt I'm done.., thinkin rear axle beef tubes yet.. maybe xr rear axle with the matching vp wraith lockouts I have an some xr rear straight axles.. it would take away the need for the rear weights, since it would weigh more then enough with the mod... Hmmm......

That would put you too wide is the problem...

You just got one more MRC to build now ;-) Hopefully getting done this week and we can get it shipped out to you next week... No promises though "thumbsup"

LOL... That happened to my bros when he had it... Don made a new one a little stronger that he sent him and it worked great!

Quick question on a servo horn.. any one got a tip on a longer clamping servo horn then 1" or whichever length the robotronics horn is? It's the only way to get more or max steering out of the mod.. everything else is to the max. Longer horn= more throw..

Thanks guys.. both checked out.. after getting a little run time, I'm not sure how needed it is.. lol.. the rear deff pushes the front at slower speeds.. ud gear change coming next.
