I talked to Steve last week and got the news that my new axles were ready to be sent out!

Also going to switch out the light bar to a new 5" Rigid bar!

Those axles are so ridiculous!
Love em.

When I'm ready to drop an Alabama mortgage payment on axles I'll get a set. LOL

I ended up cutting the front plate and crossmember out of because I'm going to sneak the new Tzi World winch out in front of the steering servo. I used another servo to estimate the locations for both pieces.

The winch will be angled slightly to stay out of the way.

Obviously there is no output on the new winch.

I wrapped up the design of the shock and servo mounts. I need to finalize the design of the panhard mount and adjust a couple dimensions. After those things are done, I'll be sending everything off to the cutter.

your rig is awsome! i got a quick question tho, I have a RR metal spur gear for awhile now with no problems with it. The problem ive been having is that my pinion gears keep wearing out super fast, maybe 2 runs out of one gear. If you know of any pinion gears that wont wear out or any other help. thanks

I am running the Associated gear, need to make sure they are hardened. Also, it sounds like your mesh was maybe a little tight.

I envy those that use CAD and understand it...I have taken numerous cad classes and have the latest and greatest version on my computer at work. However...CAD and I dont get along, we stopped talking last year. So I just take the drawings that others give me and convert drawings to tangible items.

Finished up my fixture table tonight.

Done!

Welded up all the brackets, shot a coat of paint on them and bolted it all up.

Going to simplify the trans mount for the final design.

Everything is nice and solid. With the addition of a ground clamp or strap to bridge between the table it would be easy to weld on.

The extra mounts for other wheelbase lengths.
