Attn: NEWBIES POST HERE<<<<<<

I am new to crawling, but not RC. My son and I used to race indoor, off-road dirt tracks in Milwaukee. Then tried 1:1 mud drag racing, then did the putt-putt crawling/trail riding in the 1:1, now we are both crawling scale.

Righty ho.....Newbie here I guess....not to RC really got a few RC cars.....a sand scorcher a novak 6.5r brushless TA05 and a highly modiefied M-04 lengthened and widened with tl-01 suspension running a novak 3.5r and some hpi vintage series wheel with a bel air shell....my little drag monster.....

really want to get in to crawling now so looks like this will be a super site to start!!! living in the uk it's not so easy to get hold of crawler stuff!!!

gonna be building a 2.2 as soon as i get my hands on some tlt axles.....got a custom chassis al drawn up so once i have some parts and pictures i will start a thread as no one wants a thread with no pictures!!

Hello all I am new to rc crawling I have been in rc for 15 years now (off and on) I started out with a hobby grade car never had a toy grade I always wanted to go faster then the toy grade stuff could go..... Now I have started to build a crawler and currently on my parts list I have 8 Hot Bodies Savage shocks and some Aluiminimum coping and Dimamond plate. I built 1 chassis so far but I don't know if it will work or not... :???: I plan on running super clod buster Axel's and 55 turn lath motors... Any Ideas on scrach built chassis's would be helpful I was thinking about using the coping and some flat Aluiminimum stock I have to build a stick type but I don't know if the savage shocks will work I think I could make them work we shall see....:???: As you can see I am very Confused as I have never done this kind of thing any help would be accepted thanks.....

StampedeProject.com Rock Crawling

I am not new to RC, but "newer" to crawling with about a year's experience with crawling.

I have a number of custom builds, but recently did a pretty nice little Wheelie King conversion that almost anyone could do using a Axiom Motors 85T V10 crawler motor that worked great in the WH.

I write for RC Car magazine and the majority of my builds at this point end up as article in that magazine the rest hit my site http://stampedeproject.com

Glad to be part of the forum.

Tony

Hey im new here and im hoping to get into this. My first rig i dont think ill build myself but rather buy from someone off here (cannot seem to find that thread) then once i figure out how these babys handle and run then ill most likely build myself one. Im up here in Washington state and lookin forward to havin a rig for winter to go flog around in the snow with:). Cya all around!

I guess I am new here.. been lurking the site for a year or more but I haven't posted much.

I have 3 clods, a twinforce and a venom mini giant. I race 1/18th scale carpet and will be racing 1/8th scale truggys next summer. The clods are general bashers, the twin is mostly stock and the VMG is ripped apart to make a mini crawler. I plan to try out brazing a tuber for the twinforce this winter and I'd like to do something a little more crawler capable out of one of the clods. I am also restoring an old Monster Beatle kit.. slowly.

Ihave my eyes set on the axial scorpian but I am waiting for the scale chassis kit to come out.

Hey, I'm not really new to the site, but I did just find this thread... I'm still a little new to crawling, I've been into RC my entire life. I have just a few cars... An Axial AX-10 Scorpion, Traxxas Rustler, Traxxas Stampede, Losi Micro-T, An original RC10 buggy(no not the one everyone has with the blue chassis, mine is the "original" with the brass chassis), and various cheap RCs... I live in Utah and I currently have plans on building a rock playground on my property. I'll make sure to post about that later on of course!

TCS bm19 motor

Hey ya'll, my name is Ryan. I have been in the crawling world for about 3 months. I have spent the last 2 months reading all the threads about brushless motors. When I first got my crawler I went with a Scorpian 3025-14. I miss treated the motor switching the motor shaft out. Then the motor got up to 350 degrees and the mags. in it lost there magnitism. I am looking at the TCS bm19 to put in my TXT-1. My truck is about 16" long, e-maxx trany locked in first gear, mamba max ESC, and 6 3200 mah nimh batteries. My question is, has any one heard or seen anything about this motor? BM19 that is. I appreciate the replies, hoping for all "thumbsup" about it.

You actually received a PM warning, not an official RCC warning, or infraction.
Not trying to be a jerk here, but.... how do you "accidentally" enter a give-a-way?
If you read the start of the tread? you would have known it was for star holding members only. You sure are seemingly taking a PM warning hard.
Many of the other mods would have just given you an infraction for not following forum rules. I try to be a nice guy, since you're new here, and I still get you whining.

ummmmm.......I was just kidding. I honestly cared very little about the "PM warning" you gave. Was just having a little fun. :-P
