Hey ya ll As the title said im new and have been searching the site for a couple days. Its amazing what you guy doto your rigs. My 1:1 is a 91 yj with a 4" RE and 33.
I bought a 1:6 nylint to start with but just waiting for it to get to the desert where I ll be for the next 7-8 months. The jeep club I ride with back home also wheels rc so I plan on going back and tearing them out of the frame with my extended wheel base nylint because I have plent of time here for modding.
Keep up the good work guys
Thanks, Derek

My name is Jeff and I'm from WI. I am looking at getting into crawling and build a tuber. This may be a good hobby for the winter when I cant not work on my 1:1 lifted ranger.

Hello My name is Tony and I'm a RC'aholic
Sorry! first post here. I have raced for years ele. 1/10 back in the day took a few years off and have been racing 1/8 buggy and truggy for the last 2-3 years. A local club started a indoor carpet track so I jumped into onroad. that was boring. sold the onroad stuff when the owner of the place build a crawing wall!!! there was like 4 AX10's there and i was hooked.
I want one.
Now I need to search and find all the goodies to make a good purpose build crawler. I like the ax10 it looks solid and there are tons of parts becoming avalable.
c-ya around
Tony

Hi, my name is Mark and I live in Wetumpka, AL. Been watching the crawler thing for awhile and decided to dive in head first. Yep, building a Super right off the bat. So far;
Hustler tuber
Clod axles
(alloy tubes and knuckles, metal gears, and CVD's)
Integy droop shocks
2- Mamba max ESC
2- HH 1000kv motors
Going with DX-6 w/ frt rr steer and throttles

Can't wait to get her finished. I also own rcbodies.net and plan on making a taco body like on the cover of Crawl magazine.

whats up ? I'm not a newbie to rc cars by any means My first car was a marui big bear back in the mid 80's I sold my esp clodzilla 4 a while back I even owned a pink sandrail that Jay K.(Roktoy) on here built but sold it as well when funds were tight .I got addicted to rc planes for a while but I've been keeping an eye on the rock crawling scene and things are looking good for a return to the hobby so last week I bought enough pieces to start a TLT crawler and today I went a little crazy and picked up a new Hi Lux kit with bearings and controller on fleabay.I figured if yer gonna have a crawler ya gotta have a tow rig right?

I'm cash poor right now but truck rich "thumbsup"

Noob!

Yep, another noobie. I have already posted a couple of things in the AX-10 section about some issues that I was having putting my Scorpion together. Thought I should get my sh** straight and post up here. I have ran t-maxx, dura traxx, and e-maxx before getting into a crawler. I found myself trying to crawl stuff with my e-maxx and not beating the hell out of it. I have completed my ax-10 and have also completed the stage two upgrades on the home page (minus the axles and tires). This is a great set up and web site. I'm down in San Diego, Rancho Penasquitos. That's about it.

Which makes the better motor? Integy or Axiom? And for which evr one should i get the V11 55 turn motor or V10 hand wound 55 turn motor? Or there any better motors out there that are 55 turns or 45 turns that have lots of torque?"thumbsup"

I'm new to crawling, but been into RC since 1984 when I was 8. I'm mostly into giant scale aerobatics, but its just too damn cold to fly lately.

I was born and live in Denver, and just recently started getting into cars again. They are my "toys." Airplanes have become a serious focus of time, money, and energy. The Crawlers are a good way for me to take a break.

That said I just bought an AX10 with a brushless Novak Goat system (way overkill) and the CKRC stage 2 kit with four bent links. Still trying to overcome torque roll with my truck- I can flop the thing clean over if I goose it too hard. I actually purchased the rig in PHX as my girl lives there, and has lots of nice dry rocks for me to practice on in the winter. I've been lurking for months and have already answered most of my own questions.

Looking forward to poaching some comps this summer- or even winter if there are any events.
