Hey guys, I'm Alex Hebert, a.k.a. Big AL.
I live a little south of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, Canada.
I don't have anything but a Savage 25 right now, but I have been doing my homework like mad and have been using the search on here like crazy, I will be building a TLT-1 based crawler. This will be my first crawler. I will be starting a build thread for it shortly. I will have you guys with me along the way, with lots of questions for ya also! I decided I would post here first! I gotta give it up for RC Crawler.com, every single bit that I know about crawling, I have got from here! THANKS guys! (keep an eye out for my up-coming thread!)

- Big AL "thumbsup"

I'm new here! Plays With Toys reccomended this site to me. I just ordered a 4WD Wheelie King....looking forward to modding it!

I'm located in Houston. I might have to buy some rocks to crawl...

Hey guys, I'm back. I haven't owned a r/c truck in about 2 years so I stopped going to these forums. I built a stick crawler and had several nitros before I sold them all to start up my business. Things are going well so I am building a PTI GRC and stretching it to a 12.5" WB, going brushless with 4000mah lipo's from Holmes and a few other goodies. I'll probably start a build thread when all the parts get here. I lost my other login details so I had to create a new one. I'm out in Katy, about 25 miles west of Houston. Not much to crawl on around here, the build will be fun, and the cats always need to be terrorized!

hey everyone... My name is Nate and I from Brentwood,CA. I just recently was turned on to RC crawlers and i have become completely infatuated. I am looking to build my own rig from the ground up and haven't decided to go scale or modified.... but my situation is this. I am a machinist and have the skill, ambition and access to precision tools to make a fun crawler. Unfortunately i don't have the knowledge yet. I was hoping that someone could point me in the direction of a really good how to guide on the net that could help inspire me on my way.... I would greatly appreciate it.

Hey all, I'm new here. I live just a little north of Greensboro, NC. I've been into the nitro r/c stuff off and on for a few years and am getting ready to dive into the crawler world head first. I'll have some nitro trucks for sale shortly if anyone is interested. I'll sell it all for a deal. Later

Howdy folks, just found this thread...

NOOB from Ohio

As the title says, I'm new(B). It's been a while since my last RC and then I found this site a while back. After a while I decided to look into it again and join-up here. Lots of good info around here. So much so that I've found myself not knowing which way I want to go. I'll figure it out here soon. Thanks , Chris

I too missed this thread, until I came across it searching for something else...."thumbsup"

Just got a used rc10 from ebay to putz around with my 5yr old and his New Bright hummer. Now I'm infatuated with scalers in general and the tamiya bruiser in particular-got my eye on ebay for one.

Just here to soak up some info, possibly eventually get into the classifieds to buy a rig if I dont break down and impulse buy one from ebay, lol.

nate-you're practically my neighbor! lets have coffee.

Crawler Noob

Hey, I guess it's common, but I missed this page when I first got here...
I'm Lantz from Central PA, originally from the Buckeye state. I have an E-Maxx and E-Maxx based crawler that I just built from scratch. This forum is like getting 10 years of experience in a few hours' time. I'm pretty much checking out new threads every day and tinkering or crawling nearly as much. I now find myself drooling when I pass by constuction sites, rock piles, stream beds, etc........is this normal?!? :-P
