my one rc is a pede but i am here because i wanted to compete with my friends e-maxx its stock but can still go places my pede can only dream of. so i started looking around and found this place now here is my crazy question ... im not that into crawling right now it just seems to me that crawlers are built tuff as nails so i want one ... but it must be faster... then a normal crawler at least as fast as a stock e-maxx now i first wanted a clod because will its big and bad "thumbsup"but then i found the txt and said hey thats cool to and u dont got the motors on the axles witch i kinda like and dislike but anways then i found the tlt i like it because the junfac chassis is cheap vs clod and txt chassis and it uses what apears to me as a normal stampede tranny so one motor now would the axles handle a burshless motor ? and my second question is am i just crazy and looking for problems trying to make a fast monster truck crawler? if i am ill just buy a e-maxx or e-savage and call it good

hey everyone,
My names Matt, im 17 and love to work on rc's. I'm from Prior Lake Minnesota. A town 45 minutes south of the twins cities. I own a Revo, T-Maxx, Stampede and my most recent purchase was a F350 Hi-Lift. I've been lookin round for a good crawler website, and I found it here. Been lurkin around here for a couple days and I think this site kicks ***. I've found a lot of things to make my hi lift more capable. I plan on buying another one for the shiney tow pig and the one I have now will be a beater because I already messed it up pretty good (snapped a driveshaft lol) but I plan to rework the whole suspension.

new to the site!!

Hello everyone,
I have been looking at this site for about a week now, after getting my first TLT-1 used from a buddy of mine. It is slighty modded and needed a little rebuilding. after spending a week repairing it, I have to say I'm hooked. I'm already planing future builds and will be spending alot of time learing all I can from this site

Well another Newbie in the ranks. I would say that I am a novice when it comes to the RC world and an intermediate to advanced wrench in the 1:1 world. I have a Nitro Rustler & two T3's. I'm looking to build a close to scale Bronco. I have come here seeking knowledge for my quest, as with most things I have found you can do it right or you can do it again. Trying to build a good performer the first time around and avoid wasting too much $$$. I'm FELIX over @ NAXJA as well.

Thanks
Rob

My name is Dave and I've been lurking for months, trying to figure out what I want to build.
I have a stock clod that I picked up at an automotive swap meet, that I intended to build into a crawler...but now I want to build a scale rig.
I'm new to crawlers, but have numerous r/c's(10 ish, a couple of vintage Tamiyas in disrepair, a couple of newer Tamiyas, 4 ntro powered rigs,etc.).
This is a great, informative and sometimes humorous site...I love it.

Newby

Hey, im andrew
I just got a CEN magnum NX
I live in TX[not a good crawling place]

Ive got one question, am i wasting my time trying to turn my CEN into a crawler? I am new so go easy.

Hi, my name is Eric and I live in Cameron Park, CA. I work in the 1:1 industry for a suspension MFG and thought this would be cool. I'm currently building a TLT based rig with a SW2 chassis, 55T lathe motor, pede tranny, Fat Rock Cs, Traxxas sliders, Traxxas links, Moab tires, Novak XRS ESC, Hot Bodies shocks, and of corse a HPI TJ Rubicon body. I'll post some pics when I'm done.

Hi, my name is Chris. I am 16 years old and I live in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

I have a NN rock crawler from the crawler store. Here are all the things I use---

- black anodized NN chassis kit
- Thunder Tech Racing Clodbuster diff lock kit
- RcGuy 8 tooth pinions
- Thunder Tech Racing adjustable motor mounts
- Thunder Tech Racing TTR/MIP Clodbuster CVD's
- Spektrum DX3 with a "Rear Steer" setup
- Spektrum reciever
- Tekin Rebel 2 speed controller
- Hitec 5955TG Robot Servo (awsome torque!! 333 oz.in.!!)
- Deans connectors for battery.
- Integy 55t lathe motor
- Proline Moab 40 series tires
- Proline Velocity 40 series rims
- Losi LST shocks (almost too big...lol)
- RcGuy Clodbuster Pro Steering Mount
- RcGuy Pro Steering Kit
- OFNA Heavy Duty Servo Saver
- Monster GT body

My rig is a total competition rig. The only thing is, I dont compete in the big events. I have alot of friends who crawl where I live, so we just go find a wash with steep sides and tons of rocks and crawl there. I enjoy crawling and I do it almost every other day if I get the chance. I was even able to start an RC club at my highschool, and several of the kids in it have rock crawlers, too.

Hi guys I am new to the site, don't have a crawler yet but I am hoping to soon, one of my buddies is going to help me out. My current rigs are mostly all racers. I started out as a basher but now I only race and it's great don't get me wrong but now it's time to go back to meeting up with some buddies and playing around.
I just started researching crawlers and am unsure what style I want but I hope this site will help me out.
I am up in Northern WI/MN, I am right on the border of MN/WI in Superior, WI
