Hi, Val here, got started in RC with a Hornet followed by a Lunch Box ages ago, then got out for a while, I got started again about a year ago with a Kyosho Mini-Z Monster, followed by a Tamiya Wild Dagger that I've minimally modded, got a used Bullhead last September that I've just recently had enough time and money to start modding into a Basher/Crawler type thing. I'm fighting like crazy with parts and sizes since I'm in Japan and a lot of bits and bobs that are commonly available in the States just don't exist here, but I'm making do.

(Still hammering in screws with a pipe wrench)

I'm David, and I know absolutely nothing about crawlers. I have a stock TLT-1. I also have a Losi MF2, Tamiya TL-01, and a Duratrax Mini Quake to name a few. :)

New guy here.

Got into this rock crawling thing last weekend while out in the trails wheelin' the big boy.

Of course, like all newbs. I have a ton of questions and I have been doing alot of reading. This site is great.

I will be starting to build my crawler within the next few weeks. I am going the TLT-1 route. I am hoping my crawler looks like the real deal , like most I have seen on this site. Very good work by all.

hey im new, don't have a rig yet, debating a stick style clod or a tcc hustler maybe if i wind up with some extra cash i'll go hustler, whats everybodys opinions on both of those?... i've never had a clod or an electric for that matter, but im pretty bright so i'll probably get it all figured out. im bidding on some clod axles on ebay, hope to get the major parts lined up before i start asking for help with radio and everything else, lol.

My name is Nick, from Arvada, Colorado, and I am head deep in a pti build,
other intrests include helis, (TREX 450sa, cnc head, futaba401 gyro, phoniex esc, ect.ect.),

Well, I already posted a bit on my build up for my first crawler rig in the TLT section and I meant to post here first, but I guess I jumped the gun a bit. Anyway, here is the requisite info about me. I'm a 22 year old college student at UC and have been doing RC for about 10 years now. If it has 4 wheels, i've had it. 1/10 scale truck, nitro truck, 1/8 scale buggy, nitro and electric touring, etc. But this is kind of a new venue for me and i've been reading the forums for a few weeks now just taking it all in, but since my rig is finally coming together, I figured i'd start posting. I'm working on a blinged out XRC CF TLT rig since I haven't seen one of these built up yet. I thought about waiting for the SW3, but I know how many people on here, along with those in the local club that will be running this chassis VERY soon and I like to be a little bit different. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio on the north west side of town. Just outside of the 275 loop on 75 for those familiar with the area.

Hello,
Been researching the site for awhile now, didnt want to dive in a$$ deep without knowing what the community is like. I've only been in Rc for around a year. I own a shop callled Griffon Racing and I biult and raced quads semi pro for 4 yrs and ended up in the last crash with a few broken ribs. During recovery time I met a guy at the track who had a nitro truck. Not even sure what it was, but it inspired me to go buy one myself. Long story short, I biult a killer HPI MT Racer of all things and still own and race it today.
One day while watching Spike and Extreme 4X4, they were working on the black widow rock crawler. I thought man I could biuld something like that. Well, 163 hrs of labor later, my first crawler, a full tube chassis was done and R&D was taking shape. I wasnt real sure what tires I needed to run, so I starting surfering the net. Thats when I found this site and found out that I wasnt the first guy to think of this, (dam I could have made a fortune). Since then, I have been reading and looking at the biulds, I am very happy to say, my truck is very close to unique. I havent seen anything exactly like mine and that really surprises me. Anyhow, thats who I am and I live in Hershey NE. Not the most rock filled part of the country for sure, but there are plenty of concrete piles. I documented my biuld all the way through, and I'll be posting it up in the next few weeks if anyone wants to see it. I still need to pay my membership and learn the posting tricks, but I'm getting there.

Hey everyone, sorry for the delay on posting here.

I am from Upper East Tennessee and I am currently waiting on a 2.2 Pimp Cane and am in the process of finishing a Rock Bull II Super.

I am a full time fly fishing guide for trout and smallmouth. I love rc trucks and planes for my hobby.

I got introduced to this site by f150dan and Gingerbread of the E.T.R.C. club. This site rocks, so much great info.

Hey everyone.

Name's Corry. 17 years old and a junior in high school.

I live in Bellflower, California (So. Cal. near Long Beach)

I basically live for the desert. Been in it all my life. Dirtbiking for 10 years now. I am heavily into the desert racing scene (trucks and buggies) make it out to as many races and events as possible. I am building my Ranger into a prerunner and I am involved with a few race teams.

Photography is my other passion besides the desert. Basically self-employed. I shoot pics at all the races I go to and sell prints to the racers.
You can see my latest gallery at www.prerunnertrucks.com/gallery
Only one race up so far since it is a newer site.

I am a moderator over on The R/C Zone and I have experience in the electric 1/10 ST world.

Looking at selling off my ST and funding a nice budget crawler off of that rather than saving forever and buying an HPI Baja 5b. (since all my money goes into my photography business and my 1:1 truck)

love cheese, beer and crawling
