G’day to all, I’ve been on here a long time but never made too much of a post count.
I cant take all the credit for this rig, originally in the hands and built by Travis C. It then changed hands a couple of times and eventually made its way to Australia. I’d read the build up years ago and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to own it, just one of those rigs I felt needed to be continued with instead of parted out.

Ill repost what its details are from its original build as most of that is still the same.

TSS alloy rails, SMW wet dream skid, CF elec plate and alloy link/shock mounts.
AR60 axles, OD/UD DLUX trusses/servo mount, creeperbob rear TI shafts, FI spools, RCBROS knuckle weights, VP knuckles and C’s. axial unis, 13 3/4’ wheelbase. TI links, Traxxas big bores, mini t springs, jeepindoug cups and DLUX link sliders. Holmes Brxl and motor and hitec 7950.

It had the axial tranny in a vanquish housing with the vanquish dig when I bought it.it came with the chanquish wheels and rock beasts but I don’t find they perform in my opinion.

Pics to come

As I bought it but I bolted on these narrowed rovers. It just performed instantly with these tyres. The second photo is a line we called the pro line. Only moa trucks could ever do it time and time again on 2.2s
About 4 attempts and badass1 did it and then could repeat it easily. I was in love.

The portals began when I saw high altitude performance had 3D printed them. Bought them and had a friend do the machine work to get them going. Then I see SMW has done these outer portal covers with the weight hangers. Yes please.
And then SMW decides to showcase these 2.2 wheels that are designed around the weight hangers and fit perfectly. You can see the difference below between the SMW wheel and a chanquish wheel.

As soon as I added the portals, gearing was up shit creek. On 3s it was just so slow. It’s now powered by a castle mamba x and a Holmes 4100kv brushless sensored motor. It’s amazing now. I changed the tyres up and now have an old set of rc4wd iroks on the smw wheels.
We’re yet to do any wheeling being in lockdown for now.
There are still things in store for badass1, for anyone in the know, can you upload videos via Tapatalk or do you need to pay for pro?

Before I changed to the iroks showing the size comparison to my cxt build and last photos is what it looks like now.

Thanks guys, more to come! Just when I get this and the young fellas wraith finished we go into lockdown haha. All I do is go to work and come home now.

Sweet"thumbsup"
I have the same cab sitting on a shelf, same yellow. Might dust it off after this inspiration.
Cheers.

Thanks for the replies, Casey, yours is a rig alright, pretty much why I got them, just took a while to get them all sorted out and fitted. Some bar work is in store for this thing too, but same as a lot I have more than one rig on the go.

Very awesome - I'm glad you got a post started for this rig. You've definitely done some badass mods "thumbsup"

I've also watched this rig over the years... Love it"thumbsup"

Remind me, whose / which body is that? Or whats left of it!!:lmao:

Thankyou all, I can’t take credit for the majority of the original build, unsure on body but am excited that we can now get the mst cruiser body as a single cab from new. Very very cool.

Thanks man. Given the age of the project I assumed it was a Tamika body but sure has aged well for a cut and shut!! "thumbsup"

He done a great job on the cut and shut. It’s so strong. Takes good tumbles and hasn’t bothered it
