Parts bin B1b Bomber with a twist

I personally prefer the SSD wide axle and HD shafts. I have a couple of them and so far they have been very good.

Wow, Thanks for the pic! It may be the angle of the pic, or just my mind. To me the F9 does appear to be at 1/2", the V2 seems a bit heavier of a 1/2". You have them n hand so I obviously take your word...

Also thanks for the recommendation on the SSD wide... That has been the other option I have been considering... The main reason I have not pulled the trigger is because of the Dlux truss... I LOVE the ability to tune rear kick as well as the added anti-squat Dlux's design allows for. That is why I have been kicking around soo many different axle options.

Will your Dlux truss fit the F9 by eye? as far as mounting holes?

Decided to convert my b1b to a B2b.... I am hoping I don't regret it. I have had very much fun, and and extreme amount of success with my B1b. It has been extremely durable, despite many many extreme crashes... Had a blast today with it today. I've been running a Hobbywing 3660 G2 3200kv motor for the past 6 months, and am extremely happy to report the motor is Awesome. Very smooth startup( much smoother then a newer version 3500XL), about the same power. I have run it 3 and 4s and it has been wet to fully submerged many times.

I also ended up doing a 4s "speed run" back yard pass It went 33MPH on overgrown grass

What is a B2B Bomber?

Yours looks awesome!

I've always found HobbyWing to be incredibly smooth. That's why I continue to be such a huge fan.

keep the B1 together,
think you should just build another rig !

you can never have to many rigs ! "thumbsup"

Hmmmm... We shall see"thumbsup" For me I tend to do better when focused on 1 machine per event... I have to admit the idea of cannibalizing the B1b has me sick...

The B2b is a FIS version of the bomber....

Thanks!!

I have had great luck with a few HW motors, mainly the 4268 G2, and the 4274, and now the 3660 G2. However a few less then favorable outcomes from their ESC's(XR8+, Max 8 and Max 5).

Damn Jato! Where you been bro?:ror:
See Post #3 - B2B

Lanky,

Your B1B is to be admired. Hate to see you tear it down. But, I will say, the B2B is a worthy replacement. I'm enjoying both. They are different and great in their own way.

And Wow, 33mph!!"thumbsup"
