Ottsix TKO10

Does anyone have this with a Toyzuki front motor mount? I bought this not realizing they required the OTTSIX trusses. Now I'm wondering if I'll have clearance issues going to a 4link.

DOH

yeah, it will probably be an issue.i'm building with a pair of brazin g-10 rails with the toyzuki front motor mount with the ottsix housings, but i'm going cms and panhard.but I don't think it would fly with a 4 link.i'm getting ready to build my links and have set the axles in place for mock up.i don't think the two will play together.but good luck, maybe you can figure something out, or someone has and will share.

You will likely get interference unless your links are long enough in the front. It would be fine if you use the scx10 vanquish 3 link/panhard. The front truss, although awesome looking is pretty large and wide. I couldn't use the truss on my gcm skeleton because of that exact issue and I believe the toyzuki mount sits even lower.

Vp 3 link panhard truss. A little removal of plastic and it bolts on.
For the motor mount use the top hole as the bottom hole and redrill a hole for the top hole and it works perfect but makes the center of gravity higher unfortunately which is why I switched besides the fact scx2 axles are awesome.

So i'm confused with these V2s...I have V1s with beef tubes...seems like beef tubes solve most of the concerns. THey are now including aluminum beef tube like inserts and theres less of a gap for the trusses and they added more material in the front.

mmmm I think i'll just buy a couple V1's in the event my V1s ever fail. Dont expect them to though.

I'm doing the same. Having a difficult time finding any though.

Question, can I use a rear truss for both front and rear if I dont need the servo mount? Also does this work with the toysuzki angled chassis?

yes you can, but you will have to manufacture a bracket that comes off the truss for the 3 link. best way is just a flaat piece of aluminum plate and wala! 3 link with no mods to the housing.

I'm no longer seeing these on their site. The product page is still up but doesn't seem accessible via the home page. I'm anti-FB so if they are/were there, I'm in the dark. RPP is out of stock also.

I wish they would release another version utilizing the new SCX 2 internals to shrink the center. I'm switching my SCX over to the new axles this winter. Been holding off picking up parts for more aftermarket options.

They are/have been phasing out the Version 1 axles for the soon to be released version 2 housing.
