What is the reason for closing it so soon?

The reason for closing ticket sales only two weeks away from the event is that the t-shirt vendor needs about a week and a half to make the shirts. That puts me at Thursday before leaving picking up the shirts.

Tickets are available on a walk up status, however there is no t-shirt option if tickets are purchased after the close of normal sales.

You are good to go the first way...The only stipulation is that one of the main tickets (2.2Pro or 2.2Shafty) have to be purchased in order to buy 1.9, super, or trail. The shirt is available with either one of these tickets as well. Just check the "additional items" section for t-shirts.
