Official 2014 Battle Grounds Championships

Re: Classes

If we do not have a minimum of 7 preregistered drivers in any given class by the time normal ticket sales end, that class will not be cost effective to run, therefore it will be dropped. I know several people have posted interest on here about driving different classes and we most definitely want to be able to run all classes, but if we do not have the numbers, it is not feasible to run that class. If we do have to drop a class, anyone who has registered for that class will receive a full refund for that portion of their ticket.

Having said this, please sign up for whatever class you would like to run. We strive to make this event the best it can be, and it would be nothing without all of the great people who come out and play with our toy trucks!!

If it would help cost effectiveness only make awards for 1st place for 1.9 and super and let the class run as long as 3 show up. Awards for 1st-3rd for classes with less than 7 drivers is lame anyways.

I think with these 2 classes "dying" or just lack of rigs and support from guys building them. It's a good way to get more ppl involved in the classes by allowing an exception.
Anything to keep crawling Alive and classes running, is worth doing!

I understand the 2 driver per rig rule. I see it more effective the 2.2 classes..

Just bought my Trail class and SUPER ticket and I don't even own a super or have ever driven one."thumbsup"

Was allow for 1.9 and super at ecc.

Seems to be the only way to get any drivers.

We have absolutely no problem with you guys sharing rigs. I want these classes to happen as much as anyone. We can all work something out to keep them going."thumbsup"

That might be the way to make this work. I agree that 3 trophies with 4 drivers is bad taste. We will see how it plays out, but right now it looks like we might have enough interest to keep all of the classes alive"thumbsup"
