Holy crap!! What an awesome build! Not that it matters much, but a rock crawlin/wheelin buddy of mine in Southern Utah actually built the Megaramrunner for Diesel Sellerz. MEGA X 2 6 door Dodge 6 Door Ford 6 door Mega Cab Six door ExcursionMEGA X 2 He does awesome conversions, has done for years.

Here's a pic of his personal driver in the back ground from a Moab trip a while ago... a pos rental Jeep is in the way though lol...now back to your fantastic build"thumbsup"

1tonblazer, that's awesome!

Got the "brackets" to mount the transmission and transfer case cut from some 3/8" aluminum.

also grabbed a pair of old shocks off an RS4 Rally I use to have, I think I'll be able to use them on the rear to keep it from being bouncy, after a rebuild of course.

HPI RS4 Rally shocks installed on the rear axle, need to do a little clearancing on my lower link mounts to get full compression though.

Unless you dive into a complicated true custom build, you won't understand the headaches and engineering that goes into something like this. Killer work, well thought out, and more scale goodness. Keep up the great work. 8)G

Thanks Bulldog, your exactly right, I spend more time staring at my builds thinking of how to package everything in such a small space, and have everything work properly.

I spent most of today mirroring over the dually fenders, mainly by eye, in clay. next step is to cast them.

Modifying the Tamiya semi hitch for a little side to side tilt. One more bracket needed to finish it off

Levelling out the roof with a few strategic cuts, and then a few backer pieces glued in

Messing around with potential trailer length

Far from bottomed out, but it does need stiffer foams in the tires

Outer ring of bolts drilled for, and installed, after adding the small detail of the real wheels. Now to take all the bolts back out, do a little finishing work, then cast the cap.
