#MEGARAMRUNNER - Diesel Sellerz 6-door mega cab 2012 Ram 3500 - tow rig

Got all the tires shaved, did some work on the bed, got a temp cab mount and electronics setup, and got the rest of the wheel caps done.

In my haste/lack of attention, I did manage to mount the bed crooked though, haha. I'll fix that the next time I get to work on it. I wanted to have it under its own power for the comp tomorrow, which it is running now. I might grab some video tomorrow.

Also jacked up the rear suspension by 1/4" with some spacers, and remounted the bottom of the shock.

I'm watching reruns of DBs and reading through this build. I'm just really glad you took on this project. Not only have you taken it on...you're doing a killer job. Very clean and well thought out. Kudos and accolades my friend! Keep it up. Greg8)

With it running, I took it to the comp on Sunday in Taylor Falls. and I grabbed a couple small videos. Do note that yes, I do have an open diff on the front, even with 2.5 million weight "fluid" in there, it unloads fairly easy. I did this to help with turning, which for how long it is, it does surprisingly well.

Also, it's difficult the drive one handed and film with a phone at the same time, haha.

I suppose were going to have to make a sign for when we get to crawlapalooza. "Come see the dieselsellerz Rigs". Between this, my Brodozer and supersix, we got most of it covered ;)

Threw some paint down on the cab and bedsides. I still have to recast the front fenders and hood scoop from new resin before painting them. Still have bodywork/filler to do before another coat, then the gray.

Never heard of squadron, but I like the Tamiya. It take a while to dry, and shrinks a LOT, but it's easy to use, and once dry, does sand ok. and so far, haven't had any issues with it on Lexan, but I do put down a layer of PS5 or PS12 first, and then prep off that.

After a quick google search, I recognize the squadron packaging, and have seen it. I've just never used it before.

Some sanding done, and laid another coat of PS5 black down. Gonna let those sit for a bit before I put more filler on, and work on bumpers. Picked up some more posterboard to do mockups before sheetmetal gets cut.
