A little wetsanding

Worked on the front end some. Recut a grill to fit axial light bar sizes. The same for the center section of the bumper, and the openings in it.

The axial body is proportionally wider than the real truck, so it won't be perfect, but it'll have nearly the same look.

More bodywork, 400 grit wetsanded the cab, then threw silver down on it so I could see things easier.

Cut the tail light out of the driver's side rear fender, then started bodywork on both driver's side fenders.

Didn't realize until after I had them cast, but I did the intersection at the top edge of the wheel flat wrong, they're only a crease, not the step I modeled in. Fixing that with filler.

Worked on the trailer a bit tonight, going all aluminum.

Cut a front vertical post for the 5th wheel

1/4" square rod attached to back of post

Axles, started as 3/8" aluminum rod

1/8" plates cut for the gooseneck

Didn't get it done enough to use it at the comp tomorrow though

Sadly, I haven't touched it since I got back from Crawl-a-Palooza. It may be a while before its finished, I'm kind of wanting to see if the Diesel Brothers make any big changes to the real one, as they're reworking it, taking it to SEMA, and giving it away!

That and I've started my new class 2 legal comp truck for next year for our local 1.9 class(no post yet)
