#MEGARAMRUNNER - Diesel Sellerz 6-door mega cab 2012 Ram 3500 - tow rig

I'll be picking up one of Axial's Rigid light bar kits, but I believe it only comes with 2 of the dually light buckets, and I'll be using the bigger ones from that kit elsewhere on the truck, and just want everything to match. And I like the look of the axial bars for its scale appearance.

Got the hood scoop poured and mounted.

Started gluing the cab together

Started gluing the bed together so I can start sculpting the dually flares

Building new headlight buckets out of styrene, making the Axial Rigid Dually light lenses fit, just like the real truck. It won't get the color changing "halo", but I'm planning a red translucent material on that lip to indicate that halo though.

Got a little further with the headlights. Taped some translucent red rod around the "halo", and held it up with some double sided tape under the body

Here's the headlight on the real truck for comparison

Tiny bit of work on the headlight buckets, deciding whether to finish them up with a little clay and cast them, or finish them out in all styrene.

4 Powerstroke scalers for up front, and Mini-t rear springs with 10-32 x 1/2" well nuts for a coil setup out back, instead of going with leafs like the 1:1

Getting the driver's side bedside buttoned up so I can start on the passenger side.

Trying to make these BFG KR2s look like Michelin XZL military tires that were on the real truck at one point, by shaving the sidewalls. I'm using these because I already had them just laying around, and they are the height I think looks right in scale for the truck. the rc4wd mil-specs are either a little short, or a bit too tall for the truck.

Just a little messy

Nothing done tonight, just cut out some paper to cover up the 5-spokes and help visualize the final product.

Also did some research on how I might be able to make working halos, not color changing, but lit up 8)

Thanks Joe, after watching a few of your builds, that means a lot!

Figured out how Im going to mount the tranny, and propped it and the transfer case up in how they'll be oriented compared to each other to make sure there was plenty of clearance for the driveshafts. (That's not the motor I'll run, I think, haha)

Also got a new motor plate drawn out, which should still allow me to run the spur gear cover it comes with stock.

Got the motor mount made, even fits the spur cover (after one small trim)

New transfer case mount plates too. Still needs a bit more work to make it look more symmetrical though.

Axial light bar set came in, but I'm mixing it up. Its suppose to use 8 5mm leds (it's the shorter of the 2 large light bars), but removing the piece those leds slide into, I can make a circuit board that will fit 14 Cree P4 square leds. I drilled holes into a piece of 1mm styrene to test fit the idea. Yep it works.

Bro I need this done can't you tell me what parts and stuff pm me please

Here's the leds themselves, off the top of my head, I don't remebmer what ohm resistors I used for 6V power, but I set them up so each one has it's own resistor, and a 1/4W carbon film resistor fits underneath the led itself.

CP41B-WES-M0-Ws-29

I get most of my stuff from digikey.com, including the copper clad board to etch the circuit board from.

Here's an example of the resistor under the led I've done (on my mud truck now)

I'll go through it all in the thread here as I make it. Plus I'll need a few of them if I make the roof rack that got put on the truck at one point

You guys just keep lifting the bar on customization. It's going to be hard getting any attention with awesome builds like this on here. Great work! I can't wait to see the finished product.
