I've put together a few more over the past year or so, a 10.5" and 12.5" AR both in 5.56, but everyone knows what those look like. And I decided I'm going to shoot some NRL 22 and NRL 22X matches next year. So, of course, that meant I needed a true match-grade .22lr. Oddly enough, a bolt action .22lr is one of the few things that I've never owned. At first I intended to shoot in base class, but, after numerous people telling me I was just handicapping myself on glass in order to stay in base-class, I went all in.
20" Tikka T1X MTR factory barreled action in .22lr
KRG Bravo rimfire chassis with tool-less LOP
KRG heavy Arca rail
KRG Steel stop
KRG ARCA spigot mount, with Harris inline mount and Harris S-BRM 6-9' with S lock
Mountain Tactical trigger spring and extended mag release
DIP extended bolt knob
Area 419 30MOA rail
Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 in Athlon rings, MK Machining throw lever and scope level
Form 1 can from Nick at ECCO Machine and Fabrication
And shortly after completing it, my shooting buddy found me a hell of a deal on a turn key chassis setup for my Tikka CTR, so it got upgraded too.
Tikka T3X CTR .308 20" barreled action
KRG X-Ray chassis, ARCA rail, extended mag release, and magazine
Bushnell Elite LRHSi 4.5-18x44 in Warne mount
Mountain Tactical trigger spring
Harris S-BRM 9-13 with S lock
SiCo brake/mount with F1 can
And I went to south Georgia with a friend to get our DOPE for the .22s at exteded range. Went 8 out of 10 on a 12x20 plate at 300yds with cheap CCI SV ammo. So freaking fun, wish I lived closer to somewhere that goes beyond 100yds.
