Gun and knife picture thread!

With the cost of ammo now I've been leaning towards airsoft for some training, especially team stuff. It's crazy how close airsoft has gotten to real stuff these days.

Airsoft "krink" on the left. KWA AKS74U gas block back rifle. Bulgarian kit build AKS74U on the right.

That remind me, I gotta design and machine a "booster" blast baffle for it.

Only place i know i can ask this question!

Can one of youz guys suggest with a link a good quality knife.
Would like it to come with a holder/holster (honestly don't know the name of it) and under 50 bucks(if there is any under that price..lol) if possible?

Not a pocket knife with a belt clip. Lol
Thanks guys.

How big? You might be able to find an old CRKT KAT-HAWK. They are a small fixed blade. I've used one for years.

If you want a bigger one Glock makes a very durable knife. Doesn't hold an edge like a KBar but it is a work horse.

Picked up a couple Microtechs a few weeks ago. Dirac and a Dirac delta..... both of them are “proof runs”

What you're asking for is a fixed-blade knife with a sheath, BTW... "thumbsup"

Just a few bucks over, but a really good knife for the money - and Made in the USA, to boot! :

Ontario or ESEE... Would be my suggestion..

I love me some knifes! But I prefer a better steel, in my carry.
All depends on your use and sharpening skills.

Ok, learning more,i don't want a fixed blade knife, the ones that the blade swings out. (Insert name here).

5 to 6 inch blade perhaps, legal-ish in cali. A blade shouldn't pass my palm,if i remember correctly.

You want a folder then?

I'm anti benchmade due to some of their practices such as improper firearms demilling and using it for PR and their anti gun donations. I do EDC a benchmade but it was a gift.

I like CRKT. I have quite a few of their knives including the old titanium frame Wasp. They make solid stuff and their warranty is great.

I also have a Boker or two. The Automat Kalashnikov is the automatic I usually run. Been pretty happy with it and worked it hard. Needs a sharpening bad!

I don't think a 5-6" blade, is legal in Cali???

Maybe a 5-6" knife, with a 2.5" blade.. or maybe I'm thinking about the Cali, Auto law?

Cali has no laws on folder blade length I don't think. Oddly they specify you can conceal a folding knife only if the blade is folded. Whatever that is about.

Autos in cali are limited to 2" blades.

I like this guy!!

I own 2x BM's.. One is an Old, Mini Ambush.. I keep it as a back up for my cousin, that was given the same knife in boot camp.. (in case he ever loses his).

And a BM Altitude, because it came in a bundle deal and it cost me 40$.. (200$ fixed blade)

I'm with ya on the CRKT! I have a boot box, with about a dozen of them, in it..

I'm all for a quality, Spyderco! Or a few dozen...

Havnt tried any Spiderco yet.

My BM is a Rift. Was a gift from a buddy for being best man. I rotate between that and my Boker automatic.

I've got a small box of sharps with a bunch of CRKTs, an old Buck that was my grandfather's and a couple ammo commemorative knives. Glock knives in every vehicle.

Now that I've managed to figure out how to no loose knives I need to find another flashlight as I lost my Protac AAA yesterday......

Traveled to south GA over the weekend for some longer-range stuff. The rain screwed us on Saturday, was hoping to get out to 600yds, but here's some vapor trails and impacts at 300yds shooting 75gr 5.56. Still had a great time. "thumbsup"

I've put together a few more over the past year or so, a 10.5" and 12.5" AR both in 5.56, but everyone knows what those look like. And I decided I'm going to shoot some NRL 22 and NRL 22X matches next year. So, of course, that meant I needed a true match-grade .22lr. Oddly enough, a bolt action .22lr is one of the few things that I've never owned. At first I intended to shoot in base class, but, after numerous people telling me I was just handicapping myself on glass in order to stay in base-class, I went all in.

20" Tikka T1X MTR factory barreled action in .22lr
KRG Bravo rimfire chassis with tool-less LOP
KRG heavy Arca rail
KRG Steel stop
KRG ARCA spigot mount, with Harris inline mount and Harris S-BRM 6-9' with S lock
Mountain Tactical trigger spring and extended mag release
DIP extended bolt knob
Area 419 30MOA rail
Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 in Athlon rings, MK Machining throw lever and scope level
Form 1 can from Nick at ECCO Machine and Fabrication

And shortly after completing it, my shooting buddy found me a hell of a deal on a turn key chassis setup for my Tikka CTR, so it got upgraded too.

Tikka T3X CTR .308 20" barreled action
KRG X-Ray chassis, ARCA rail, extended mag release, and magazine
Bushnell Elite LRHSi 4.5-18x44 in Warne mount
Mountain Tactical trigger spring
Harris S-BRM 9-13 with S lock
SiCo brake/mount with F1 can

And I went to south Georgia with a friend to get our DOPE for the .22s at exteded range. Went 8 out of 10 on a 12x20 plate at 300yds with cheap CCI SV ammo. So freaking fun, wish I lived closer to somewhere that goes beyond 100yds.
