First time builder project - SCX10 II

Re: First time builder project - SCX10 II + first DIY mods

Printed some rear light buckets on my 3D printer:

And replaced the white front LED’s with some warm white ones. They look a lot better

Checked the whole truck to get it ready for the WTT in Belgium. Loads of photos coming up soon.

Driving at night are cool, i normally cram in 3 LED's in each of a body's headlights, and the 5 mm LED's we are using are 55000 MCD ones.

Its not light like from one of my flashlights, but driving in a dark forest at night you do regret if you turn the car 180 degrees and face yourself :shock:

I make an effort not to overdo the lighting. Although it’s nice to have full view at night Personally I like it a bit dimmed down.

Anyways, here’s the photos from WTT;

Re: First time builder project - SCX10 II + first DIY mods

For someone embarking on their own first build, also an SCX10ii, this is a very inspiring thread thanks for sharing.

If mine comes out half as tasty as yours I'll be well happy.

Thanks for that, the build was a load of fun, and I still tinker on the car every now and then.

Maybe looking for a new body.. looking for options.
