Gun and knife picture thread!

Some historical Spyderco models, definitely NOT recent purchases..."thumbsup"

All bought new when still in production.

From the top:

Renegade in GIN-1 w/G-10 scales, Seki City Japan (actually found at 50% off sale at a mall sporting goods store!)

Wayne Goddard Lightweight in ATS-55, Seki City Japan (OK, technically a gift - and from a lady friend, no less!)

Bob Terzuola Jr in ATS-34 w/aluminum scales, Golden, Colorado USA (first custom knifemaker to collaborate w/Spyderco!)

Dragonfly Lightweight in AUS-8, Seki City Japan (my first Spydie!)
That's Awesome!! Very nice collection!

Funny, a DF2 was my first Spyderco and from my wife (ex, now).. Still have it and it made for a downward spiral, in my wallet! Lol..

And favorite non-Spyderco older knives...

From the top:

Camillus CUDA Dominator Tanto Titanium Frame Lock Robo Power in S30V, USA made (Darrel Ralph design - made just before they went out of business, prior to new ownership)

Boker Heckler & Koch X-15-T-N in X15, Solingen Germany (blade thumb tab is designed after the USP magazine release and handle material is the same composite as HK pistol grips, it can also be opened as a front flipper with some practice - a gift from my most excellent German cousin)

CRKT Bud Nealy Pesh-Kabz Liner Lock in 420J2, Zytel scales - Taiwan (not one I carry often, but an interesting knife that I'd love to see redone with some changes - it could be a great self defense option if it was at least .25-.5" longer in both blade and handle, remove the oddball CRKT LAWKS safety for the liner lock and ideally use a frame lock or similar for strength, and of course upgrade the materials. Bud Nealy has fixed-blade Pesh-Kabz customs that are excellent, but this is the only folding version that I am aware of. The tip will penetrate just about anything with enough force behind it!)

Viper Tecnocut Timeless in Sandvik 12C27 w/Olive wood scales - Italy (Fabrizio Silvestrelli collaboration front flipper, beautiful gents knife - another gift from my favorite German cousin)

Boker Jens Anso Cox Slim in N690BO w/Micarta scales - Solingen Germany (Jens Anso is one of my all-time favorite knifemakers - this is yet again, from my German cousin with unparalleled taste in gift-giving!)

It is actually Jens Ansø, but thats cool, we Danes got 3 more letters than you other guys.
https://anso-of-denmark.com/collections/knives

We Danes do for some reason have a few knife makers,,,,,, which is kinda funny as you are not allowed to carry a knife here, a metal tooth pick YES but a knife NO.

I do so hope someone fix my country soon, if people are laughing at us calling us dumb asses, well i cant really argue against that CUZ i am not that patriotic for a reason.

My Spyderco collection. The St. Nick's Native 5 came in today. I tried ordering two, but they refunded me for one. Later I saw that it was 1 per customer.

Saaweeet!!! Now you just need a G-10 PM3, for those orange scales!

Yeah, 1 per customer, yet the scalper's got over 20 of them! I've seen about 30 for sale, so far. Way above retail!

I snagged 1! And 2 out of 4 of my helpers, each got one.. (I wasn't sure I would be able to get one during work, so I figured already 1 person out of 5, would get 1..
Didn't plan on getting 3! (So if you want a 2nd one Tim, lmk... I have a G-10 PM3 for ya, too.. K390). Lol

I only tried to get 2 because you said you wanted one and if you didn't buy it I knew I could sell it. :ror:

I do need to get a home for those scales though eventually. Not right now. Trying to sell tons of stuff first.

Only thing I wish Spyderco would of stuck with, is the wire clip, on all LW models.. Not sure why the LW Native got a regular clip? Oh well... My custom g10 Native scales have a wire clip mod.

Anyways.. I'm going to carry it and see how it takes work..

Maybe I'll ditch the red sprint handle for a gray one..

Interesting point about it not being a wire clip. I didn't even notice that. I love wire clips myself as somebody new to the Spyderco world.

I guess I didn't realize it was a lock back. I do like that lock, but you just can't fidget with them. :lmao:

Thats one messed up name for a pocket knife, but other than that it actually feel alright, so it go strait into my pocket.

Red handled Maxamet, is sold already..
I think the red and stone washed looks better than the red and black, myself.

Sold the used SNK Native, today too..

Snagged a back spacer, for the Bugout. It's a little light and flimsy, for my liking.. A pretty sweet LW/slim knife tho!

The Autocrat finally made it! My uncle is going to be stoked with this one!

I'm over V-toku, so I pulled out a Hap40 ladybug..
And picked up a Maxamet PM2, for a friend.

I haven't tried Cruwear yet, and found a DLC Cruwear, for a solid deal. (If I bundled)
So I bundled a Hap40 zome, for a co-worker, that's been getting into Spyderco's

Then I swapped the purple scales off the cruwear and my foliage green scales from my CTS-XHP.
Put black scales on the Maxamet, gray on the CTS, and the purple scales are just going to sit.(for now)

One last wire clip mod.. Much cleaner, when it's a final product and done with a Dremel and not a soldering iron tip.

Much happier with it and still feel, this is how it should of come factory

My youngest niece is a student at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden - home of the Spyderco HQ.

So my brother drove her and some furnishings up there when she first started, and he stopped by Spyderco and picked me up a t-shirt.

I gave him a green aluminum scale Salsa back when those were all the rage as a birthday gift! (j/k, it's all good -they're much more expensive nowadays)

Whenever I can get some time off, I may drive up there myself and pick something up from the factory... "thumbsup"

Jato, what's the 2nd one down from the top? It looks look it's got the same blade profile as my Manix 2 that I love, but in a miniature size.

Edit: Lil' Native. That explains why I wasn't familiar with it... I've never been a big fan of compression locks.

Color me curious...
Can you elaborate? "Never been a big fan of compression locks"

Strictly Spyderco, compression locks?

Because no one else does a "compression lock".

Tho, frame locks and liner locks, work in the same manner.
