Dasco's xr10 build

Well then might have to pick up a set and get rid of the fxr
The fxr's are what I'm running..seem to do well but I'm not sure they are as light as the BR mini's...I also have some sidewinder micros that are very light..but I'm not sure they will handle what I may throw at them...

I ran Sidewinders for 2 seasons on 4S hammering on some strong Brood Vapors ....... never had a problem.

Thx for the insight Robbob...I will go ahead and calibrate and smash em to switch out for Sunday[emoji13] I really like the foot print on the cc sw's better between the links

OK guys ...good news to report from today at the Ocoee! The new shocks from rc bros work flawlessly...[emoji41]...I may change the rear to the pistons recommend by Robbob above its a tad to fast for my liking.

Received a package from Mr Holmes in the mail today and all I can say is wow...super smooth and very close to rc porn..lol. I will be testing these motors and posting pics of them installed very soon!!!

Weight pics for now..first up integy 35 turn lathe motors from back in the day

Next we have a super sexy set of H.H. 13t 5 slot skewed 500t puller motors. Good bit of weight savings [emoji106]

You could get a better/flatter surface for mounting esc's if you flip cap inwards.

I figured it may help to keep em cooler if I put the FET's facing out...may try it if they don't get to hot...what are your temps like? And what motor setup and pinion do you run tapped-out?

Clean job "thumbsup"
Thank you Sir...I have had quite a bit of time on the soldering iron over the past few years. Building flight controllers and stuff that makes you want to curse and throw things in the garage has finally paid off[emoji12] I want to switch my connectors to a smaller lighter option...are micro deans the preferred connector?

Thank you for the complement fox....yes I did the smash on the tekin and fxr's...800 or 850 would work but the one in the pic I posted is a 450mah sticky for comping if I ever do [emoji12]..

Edit Nerby149 or 149 rc worx made all my links

I know many prefer them and havent seen any problems with them, I just hardwire my esc's right to my motors from habit.

I plan to do the same on the front Robbob...those are the factory bullets in the pic...and my wires to the rear are about a 1/4" to short now ..due to the different mounting holes in the HH cans..lol

Thank you brother..I'm super excited on how it turned out. Your shocks are super smooth and the wheels set it off!!! I'll be looking into the aluminum adjusters and caps you sell for the egressor shocks soon...Christmas has my fundage tied up at the moment [emoji318]
