That turned out nicely! You are gonna LOVE driving these big trucks! "thumbsup"

Thanks Jeremy, will be fun to test this as soon as the snow is gone.

I adjusted the drag break, but there is sound in a motor.
Adjusted it down to 30%, but heard a weak sounds from the motor.
Removes Holms hold and the sound disappears.
Motor and ecs are new, do I need to check this more?

Adjusted both at 60%.

Stein

Thats the normal sound of Holmes Hold, .I have mine set at 40% with 45T Holmes Motors.

fritz

Yes, know that there is sound from the motor.
But the sound was gone by 60% on one and had to go down to 30% on the second.

I have mine set pretty low as well (IIRC, 40%). Are you checking the motor buzzing at idle on a flat surface with no transmitter input? That Holmes Hold will cause the motors to buzz under load, but should be silent at idle.

Yes, I do.
The motor is quiet when I start to throttle.

Is quite weak, well maybe it is ok.
But it is not completely silent, you see the armature go back and forth

That is strange....that's not how it works on my truck. I believe the way the Holmes Hold works is to reverse the direction of the motor just a slight amount. Perhaps your throttle trim is not set exactly at zero?

The Holmes Hold is an "active hold" so it will pulse the motor in both directions at a very high frequency if I remember correctly. It will cause a buzz and what you are describing sounds fine.

Thanks for the reply.
Were just afraid that electronics would be damaged as the motors did not behave in the same way.

Any chance you can snap a picture of how the rear of the servo is mounted? Looking for ideas lol. Thanks

Rear edge of servo is attached to a bracket that is attached by a screw into housing of the gearbox.

Drilled and threaded hole in the gearbox and cut screw so it does not touch the gears.

Hope that was how you meant by your question.
