Vanquish Wheels of Fortune

Ugliest wheel combination of all time. Glad they landed on you! So rad.

If you’re a lakers fan it’s the best color combo ever lmao. Even if I were going to run them I wouldn’t mix purple and gold. But seeing as they’ve only done a few sets I think these will stay in the package a while if they stick around with me. Well, that’s a wrap WoF.. it’s been real haha

Seek counseling! :flipoff:

:lmao:

Round 5 showed up.

Orange 310s
Grey Skarns
Blue Omni IFRs
And clear 475 hubs

Orange isn’t my color but I like the rings. May have to try to sell or trade for some machetes

Here’s an assembled picture. Much better assembled than I expected.

Mine arrived:
I'm not a fan of Gold, personally, I don't find gold with black to be the most inspired of looks (sorry, Don).

Though I like a challenge, and I do have my unpainted body; the question is how to use gold and make it look good (to me)... tricky. The obvious choice (The US Army's Golden Knights) could be cool, but I'd rather do something a little more colorful (and higher visibilty).

It'll be tough resisting the temptation to just paint over the gold with a candy red (giving me a candy apple red).

I like them! I too received a set of gold wheels and am debating what to put them on. The gold will look good with most colors. The US Army Golden Knights would be a cool idea!

So I guess this is what a golden ticket looks like?? I wouldn’t know, with my luck… I’ll be paying for this somehow.

HAHAHA! It’s weird… some people say they’re purple but all I see is green

You got the pot of gold alright!! Nice win for sure! Looks like luck is on your side and you probably should play some sort of lottery soon before that luck wears off!:ror:

Denver Broncos...

I'm reasonably sure somebody had a palette of NFL/NBA, and probably MLB major colors at this point.

fwiw I think those purple wheels w/ gold rings would look sick on a white or purple rig with some graphics/ decals in white, purple, black, or gold... whatever combination of those colors.

Well, no plan survives implementation...

I do everything with my 6yo son, and he's more opinionated than that uncle that won't shut up at Thanksgiving. He was totally fine with the Gold, Black & Gold as we mounted them... then when we finished, he took a good look, and noped the frak out. "Black Wheels!" (The original unglued Traxxas wheels) was his demand.

When I told him we weren't switching back to the Traxxas wheels, he... did not take it well. In fact, you would be forgiven for thinking somebody had just spooled up an XF-84 Thunderscreech. "thumbsup" Kid's got some pipes!

Now, normally, this is the point where it's a learning moment - normal parent tantrum stuff... well, my 'lil bud is autistic, and a lot of 'normal parent' things work a bit differently...

So, black magic marker solved the immediate problem before things got out of hand...

And it'll come off easily enough with some Isopropyl or Ethyl alcohol, so I can re-introduce it to him later, and hopefully he'll feel less overwhelmed next time.

That’s a reasonable compromise… much better option than putting the stock wheels back on [emoji23]
