Slow ass super build

So no technical failures, only USER failures? I'd say that is good....

YEP, IT WAS ALL MY FAULT. I TELL YA WHAT JEREMY, THIS THING IS A FRICKIN' BLAST TO DRIVE . I MUST SAY I'M VERY HAPPY WITH IT "thumbsup", AND THANKS FOR ALL THE INPUT FROM YOU AND THE OTHER GUYS 8).
NOW IF I CAN JUST GET ALL THESE BUTTONS (ON THE RADIO) FIGURED OUT ON THE FLY. THE 2 EXTRA CHANNELS ARE A FULL PLATE .

Now it just takes practice. You need to drive it enough so that those buttons are second nature and not something that you have to think about...

Glad it was an easy fix! I sure do enjoy driving mine as well...maybe not as much as my 2.2, but it's a close second...and it might just edge out the 2.2 over time!

It was definitely cool to drive. Not to take anything away from it, just things I noticed.
Needs some foam support for sidewalls
I wonder if theres a different way to setup rear steer
lengthen wb to lower rd ht. Think that will help w 3 wheel turning action lol
it did have some steering stall, but those tires are taaall

Overall it surprised me and I gotta get mine going!

GLAD YA LIKED MY RIG ERIN, I ENJOY IT A BUNCH. A CHALLENGE TO DRIVE FOR SURE .
I ADDED ANOTHER 1" THICK FOAM DISC TO EACH FRONT TIRE AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE FIRMED THEM UP A BIT, THEY DON'T WAD UP LIKE THEY WERE BEFORE. I HAD 2-1" DISCS 8" TALL IN EACH TIRE AND NOW THERE ARE 3 IN EACH FRONT. MAY HAVE TO DO THAT IN THE REAR AS WELL, WE'LL SEE.
I TALKED TO DON AT BWD ABOUT CUTTING SOME REAR LOWER LINKS 1" LONGER AT THE CHASSIS END TO HELP WITH THE WHEEL BASE, WILL WAIT TO SEE WHAT HE COMES UP WITH.
AND AS FOR THE STEERING STALL, I FOUND THAT I DID'NT HAVE THE RADIO SET TO THE FAST SETTING FOR STEERING AND THAT HAS SEEMED TO IMPROVE AS WELL.

NOW DRIVER , GET BUILDING .

HAD A BLAST YESTERDAY DRIVING THIS RIG FOR A COUPLE HOURS , FUN , FUN , FUN! I LOVE IT. THE 4WS IS STILL GIVING ME FITS BUT I'M GETTING BETTER AT IT.
I GOT TO GET OUT THE HOTWIRE THOUGH, I HAVE ONE ESC SET AT 3.0 V. CUTOFF AND THE OTHER ONE AT 3.3 V. AND WHEN THE BATTERY GETS DOWN THE FRONT MOTOR STOPS RUNNING ( THE ONE SET TO 3.3 V.) BUT OTHER THAN THAT THIS THING ROCKS .

great looking rig Bob. I just picked up MystRacings Bully Wedge and can't wait to get it on the rocks. "thumbsup"

cool deal man, this is a really nice rig. I am very happy with it. The driver needs some more practice though. I'm glad i did'nt decide to use a stick radio or it would probally have been worse.
Are ya gonna start a build thread for it?

I'm at 17.5" but Jodie put 1/2" of alum spacers on the rear links. 1" longer lowers would be perfect. It he makes them see if he'll make another pair for me.

This'll be my first MOA rig. I have a 6 Channel dx3e and a stick radio. I guess I'll try them both out.

Not sure about a build thread. What's the protocol on that when you didnt build it? Not sure what more I can do to it besides stretch it to 18", maybe change the body, and drive it.

YEAH I'LL LET YA KNOW ABOUT THE LINKS, I WOULD THINK HE WOULD PRODUCE THEM AS A UPGRADE MAYBE.
I THOUGHT THE DX3E WAS A 3 CHANNEL RADIO.
AS FOR A BUILD THREAD, SHOW OFF WHAT YA GOT AND THEN SHOW US WHAT YOU CHANGE "thumbsup".
I REALLY LIKE THE CAB BWD HAS FOR THIS CHASSIS TOO, I JUST GOT IT ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND LIKE IT ALOT.

it's a custom dx3e from losikid.

That cab is pretty nice. Maybe I'll try that down the road.

I just tried mine out with the stick radio. Wow. It was rediculously hard. Not sure how anyone could ever get good at that. Maybe there is any easier configuration than what I had.

I did notice I have revo ends. I think I could switch to jatos and get a little more WB.

I'm actually reading it right now and probably should have done so before posting....

Looks like slobins setup will make things a lot easier for me.

I was pretty impressed with one particular rock it climbed up with ease. Only ran it a couple minutes when I bound it up and slipped the horn on the front servo. It had a plastic adapter between the horn and servo. I stuck a 7950 on the front for now. I'm going to look for a 7980 to put up there and put the 50 on the rear.

i've got 7980's front & rear and with the 8" tires it needs them.

Man they don't give these servos away. Maybe I could run a 7980 up front and the two airtronics in the rear, since I have them.
