Danza builds a 10.2 kit

I had picked up an axial Chevy 67 C-10 body with the intention of replacing the raptor body with it, but it’s bigger than I anticipated and frankly a little too pretty to use as a beater. So, I now have a shelf queen body. Had an issue with the topper and I’ll need to reshoot that on the outside at some point.

Here’s a teaser photo of sorts, it’s the sky anodized blue and was difficult to pickup the color while indoors. I’ll post better pics tomorrow with the eBay interior installed.

Body looks great, looking forward to more pics, I have one these also, goin on my Trx Sport kit. I'm going for a beater look to mine that way I won't be afraid to use it.

Thanks Kincer! Interested in seeing how yours comes out too.

Got some outdoor shots that capture the color, interior installed as well. This is one of those eBay bronco interiors, fit perfectly, almost like it was made for it.

Beautiful Chevy Danza! This body type has always been my favorite.

Yeah that came out great!

Just grab a second C10 body and pick one to be the shelf queen. Personally I have no space for shelf queens, scratch em all!

Thank you! "thumbsup"

I've definitely thought about that, these wheel wells are small and I'd have to trim up to run the tires I usually do on there. With this body, those are such a big part of the body line that I'm hesitant to hack em up. I did end up ordering some 4.19" tires I'm going to put on there and possibly get this out for light trail duty. The bumpers are a fragile plastic, I love their look but they won't last long either.

Also ordered a jerp body. I know there's no way I'll be upset about beating that up. :ror:

Damn that thing looks good!!!! Great work bro! Really digging it!!!

Thanks Animal! "thumbsup"

That looks great. Is that a waffle on the dash? Where is eleven?

Haha it is. Eleven’s dress kept her from fitting in the interior. Going to have to do quite a bit of dremeling to make it work.

I finished up the wrangler body, went with a simple gun metal and matte black paint scheme. I’m picking up some 4.19” bfgs later today and those will likely find a home here as they should fit the Jeep nicely and fit the C10 body for some light trail duty.

Updated with some tiny tires. Had the VP disc weights in but wheels stuck out too far with the .475 hubs so back to the ssd brass hub.

Looks great Danza! Really liking the wheel/tire combo. Them BFG Class 1 tires have become my favorite ittybitty tire! Great scale look and perform well.

Thanks B! "thumbsup" I got them out today for the first time and am a fan. Going to keep the truck in this trim for some time, had a blast today.

Sweet! That Jeep looks ready to eat up some rock.

The C10 is sexy to be sure. Your paint gave it show truck quality. I just trimmed that body for my kids first Crawler build, the RBK. It is bulky and seems long in front. I couldn’t help but think the body would need to be trimmed a lot for tire clearance and approach angle.

The Hyrax XL look unstoppable! Seriously think Proline needs to produce it in a third size.

Nice pics and video!"thumbsup" Them tires do hook up nice. What I wouldn't give to have terrain like that around my area.

When I first saw these tires when they first came out, I didn't think they had enough "knob" on them to do very well. But after I ran mine my mind was changed, they really impressed me.

Thanks smog! I agree 100% about the body. The amount I would have had to hack it up to run it the way I’d want to it would have ruined it. I’m going to try and fit it on with these class 1 tires too to see if there’s enough clearance to drive without trimming. It’s a big body, that’s for sure, but one of the best looking body sets there is IMO. Appreciate the kind words "thumbsup"

saw them and was worried about the same thing. Once I got on the rocks those concerns went away. I don’t blame you one bit for being impressed, I am too.

I'l loving that wheel and tire combo.

It’s a keeper "thumbsup"

*edit: Justin, saw your comment on Yt but couldn’t respond to it. Anytime though man! Would be really cool.
