........ Anyone know how long an 800mah 3cell will run a 700watt amp and a 10" sub??:lmao: Seriously.....

WTB: 70lb springs for Traxxas Big Bores.

You might get one good thump from a 5000mah 80c burst pack but i think thats going to be about it. Might have to rig up some cables so you can run it and keep it bumpin. I can see you running alittle old skol Dr. Dre. "thumbsup"

who needs springs just drop it low rider style.

oh and I know what he did...:lmao::lmao:

Twould be nice if they had the 600's in stock. Maybe a few 850s will suffice for now.

You've got a great looking 2012 rig here Jesse, you've done some nice work I love the shinny. I hope I get to see you and it this coming season at Taylors Falls, I missed you last year. "thumbsup"

Thanks!! Look forward to hanging with you guys again this summer and hopefully I'll get to meet you this time! Taylors Falls is a killer spot and I hope to make at least one comp there this year.

Your wrong..... LOL!!

Just got off the phone with a friend tonight and I must say that he really opened my eyes to tuning a truck. There are some other changes that I'm going to be trying on this truck and I'm hoping that this will be the best driving truck i've owned to date! Right now its just about perfect, but some slight adjustments are still needed to make it exactly as I want it. I've been so focused on my old tuning habits of my old trucks that i've lost sight of real geometry. Things are not always as simple as moving links up and down.

Thanks for your help tonight Nabil!!"thumbsup"

As soon as I receive the parts that Don is sending to me I'll be posting up some photos of what we have come up with. The change is simple yet very effective with this truck. The change will allow the truck to be more stable and more capable but still retain a bit of forgiveness that some people need in a truck.

I run Holmes 3s 1000 mah's which cost about 30 bucks on the high end, I know that's not what you asked for but you should do some research on them the burst on them is great gives you the wheel speed to get out of those binds and from what I've run through them they just flat out work.
Hope this helps!

OK... I don't even care anymore. Too much build up and you held out too long ;-)

(kinda like like some of the girls I went out with in school) :lmao:

Tighter than that, with a clean out:shock:

Someone remind me not to let Chris or Kevin near my truck....:flipoff:

Well, I put in about 3 hours of practice tonight. 9 packs went through the truck and I have to say that this is about the most solid truck I've driven. I took some of Nabils advice and made a few simple changes that made the truck drive even better.
Vertical performance has not really improved but sidehilling and uphill digs are much better. The truck sits at 3 1/2" in the front of the skid and it is amazingly stable. Just for giggles, I tried lowering the suspension a bit down to 2 7/8" and the truck drove exactly the same, but just struggled more on breakovers. So I'm going to keep it at 3 1/2" to make it easier to break over obstacles cleanly. After my photo shoot I did lower my front uppers another hole and the forward traction got even better. The trucks seems almost perfect now for my driving style. Still need some lipos though. Having the front stall out when pushing hard into a rock is getting annoying....

Here are a few quick pics! Sorry for the crappy photos, my camera was acting up tonight...

Quick vid of a climb that I've NEVER been able to do with any other truck I've owned. Stuck it the first try then decided to get the camera out. Sorry for the bad backlighting. I was by myself and just propped it up on a rock! LOL!!

You can't really tell in the video because of the angle, but the right rear tire is floating a gap when I 'm starting the climb. Only the left rear is on the rock.

Thanks guys! That climb is something that I first attempted 2 years ago with my old Tag chassis, NO WAY! Then tried with my Moonbuggy, Nope! Then my XR Rockshow, Almost but just wouldn't hook up. This "Thing" walked it the first try!! I fumbled around for my phone to take a video and wouldn't ya know it, i couldn't get it right away, but eventually it went! Very cool!
