Building my dad a 5th dimension berg

Nice, glad I could help lol. Axles look very similar to the axles on your Dad's rig.
Don Hughes has a chump RT chassis it's Doncrawla's old chassis it had xr axles. If your looking for one.

Ya Nabil, you should get a Chump chassis! HAHA

Got the electronics put together. Went with my typical all black wiring. I tried to wire it up originally with red and black, but it didn’t look right. I mounted 2 br mini speed controllers, a bec, and futaba receiver on the skid.

Got to put the skid back in the truck now and shorten up the servo lead and it should be all done

I don't frequent RCC much at all these days. Nabil with a Berg build thread? What year is it?

2010 was the last year I ran a berg. So 2009 apparently.

Those are actually the tubes I got from you way back when. I realized it when I pulled them apart and found shims in between the tube and axle case adaptor piece.

Thanks farmer, just do it. I’ve got my xr dialed in now. Going to start a berg with superlites soon for myself. I’ve had the axles sitting in a box for a couple months now waiting for me to free up some time

Oh yeah, before anyone asks, yes I did get it finished in time for Christmas. I’ll get some pictures of the finished truck up soon

Sweet! How did he react to such a thoughtful gift? Nice work Nabil"thumbsup"

He was definitely excited about it. I kinda went a bit overboard with presents though. I wasn’t sure I was going to have this truck done in time so I bought him a scx10-2 kit and we spent the day together yesterday building it.

As promised here are the finished pictures. Truck weighs in at 4.5 pounds rtr with the battery
