Gun and knife picture thread!

I've wanted this one for quite a while, but wasn't willing to pay retail and had to wait for a deal. Spyderco Roc cleaver. The fit, finish, and action on this one is excellent. "thumbsup"

B E A Utiful!!!!

I want one, myself! I might have to sell one of my Hap40 Caly 3's and snag one up..

Hope to hear more about it, once you get to use it for a bit!

I'll keep you posted for sure Troy. The weighting is a bit different due to the blade shape and size, so thumb flicking isn't as easy as most blades. But the middle finger Spydie "flick" works great. Takes up more room in the pocket due to the size of the blade, but that's a given. It's much lighter than I expected, 4.1oz if memory serves. Those are my initial observations.

Here's a closed pic.

Mmmm... Spyderco! That's a lovely example you have there...

Mine are below - the USA-made Terzuola has increased in value a frightening amount since I bought it new:

Some non-Spydie faves - the USA-made Camillus Dominator Tanto and the Kershaw Rotary-Lock are also very collectible these days, and the Cold Steel Ti-Lite is customized by me for fast & easy opening with a roughened grip:

After seeing Star Lord with that sweet Marlin 1895sbl on that dinosaur movie I had to have one. I settled for a cool stainless Rossi r92 in .44m, though. It's a great gun and I am happy with the compromise I made for valuing my shoulder but then it's happened again. I saw Hawkeye with one in the mountains at an Indian reservation and it's rekindled my big bore want again. So I've been looking again and came across the Rossi website listing a Rio Grande for this last year's catalog in 45-70 and potentially in stainless, too. But I cannot find anywhere that's selling them. Would anybody happen to know of an online vendor or should I just try to order locally?

Pages 6&7.

Found this on r/budgetblades a couple weeks ago, they were backordered so it just showed up.

Bestech Scimitar
G10 scales, D2 tool steel blade, loose ceramic bearing pivot flipper w nail nick. Really good build quality and action, especially for the money. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

Yeah, the looks are what drew me to it. The nail nick/fuller and beveling along with the blade shape give it a very unique look. They were on sale on Amazon week before last for $29, out of stock now. I think retail is $55 or so, still worth it. Excellent lockup, really good detent and action, and great hand feel. My one nitpick is it's a bit big for EDC for me personally.

29$ would be a steal!

It looks like a kizer? The company seems to give the looks of pricey knifes, and an affordable price tag with good steel.
Other models look like Kershaw/ZT and Benchmade, knifes.

This one's a Bestech, but I've seen Kizer too. They make a few knives I want that are right at my budget limit, so I wait for sales. There are a few companies over there doing their own designs, no clones, and putting out some really high quality stuff for damned good prices. Here's a shot of this one closed.

This was waiting in the mailbox when I got home. Been anxiously waiting on it too. It's a collaboration between Massdrop, Ferrum Forge, and WE Knife.

Ferrum Forge Falcon
6AL4V titanium
S35VN
caged ceramic bearings

I love the ergos with the choil and thumb dent on top of the blade. There's no play, anywhere, and it's butter smooth. BUT, initial thoughts, it's just a hair too small for even my tastes. My Benchmade mini grips are my go to EDC blades and they're identical in size to the Falcon. Perhaps because it's a flipper maybe the small size makes it a bit tougher, or maybe I just need some more time with it. Either way, time will tell, on to the pics.

Since you're a big fan of the mini grip, check out the Benchmade mini Ambush..
An oldie but a goodie!
I had a mini grip. Custom built, by me, from a couple different ones.. lol..
Dessert tan scales, black 550hg blade (of course I had the Spyderco hole!) And a black axis lock.
Had a Osborne 940, CF (go figure) and S90V...
Mini Morpho, Infidel, etc, etc...
The mini Ambush is staying!

I carry a Spyderco on the daily and have Many... The Spyderco Sage 5, took over my pocket, from day 1.. Then it left, for the blade shape of the Delica and the PM2.
Until...
I ground the back spine off and gave it the shape of the Delica and PM2.. (I'll post pics tomorrow)
Now it just stays!
