meh

The phrase "eating healthy" is relative and very personal. I don't like to label any food healthy or unhealthy. Case in point. I haven't had ice cream in a while and I want some. So I'm going to buy some and eat the hell out it. I call that eating healthy because if I don't eat some ice cream I might chop someone's head off. or maybe things won't get that drastic... But eating what you want when you deserve it is very medicating for an ex-big boy :mrgreen:

Agreed. It's a simple long term energy in-energy out equation resulting in BMI. Many factors go into the in and out sides. Everyone gets to manage it in the way that makes them happy. I eat healthy on average but I guarandamteeyah half of the crap I post pics of would kill me dead in a month if I lived off of it. Gotta have those release valves.

I used to be in a band with a guitarist that drank Busch Light out of a 64 oz insulated cup. He would pour 2 pounders in over ice & drink it though a straw.

I also knew a guy that put his Olympia in the freezer so he could draw off the Alcohol into a syringe & shoot it.

These people were not consuming bear for the refreshment, they were chronic alcoholics that had a ritual to get their fix.

Natural Ice makes me wonder...................................................................................

White Truffles grow at the base of Fir trees.
There are roving bands of truffle hunters really causing a stink around here inappropriately harvesting.
The North American Truffle Society is based out of Corvallis, OR

They still taste like sh%^ to me.
Richies will pay ridiculous amounts of money so they can be cool eating their money.

I will keep my potatoes (boil em', mash em', put em' in a stew.)
 
No prep photos but here we have 8 monster tomatoes gone through the processor, one fresh chopped onion, one fresh chopped green pepper, four cloves of fresh chopped garlic, 1/4 cup of fresh chopped basil, 1/4 cup of fresh chopped oregano and 2lbs ground beef.

Tried making my own sauce this go around. Will update through tomorrow. Its on low in the crock through tonight and all day tomorrow.





 
I had a new-to-me dish for Sunday brunch. Chicken and waffles w/ Rhubarb syrup and Tabasco sauce, washed down with a Heavy Seas "loose cannon"

Loose Cannon is good. Haven't done chicken and waffles yet, cause it doesn't suit me in the least bit. The Lay's C&W flavored potato chips are down right bad. I can't tell you when the last time I had waffles or maple syrup. Blech.
