I just cooked another free meal. All organic.Braised porkchops(from a buddy of mines hog farm)with olive oil, sage, garlic and rosemary, cabbage from out garden, sauteed squash, potatoes, onions, okra, and green tomatoes(from our garden)in olive oil and chopped garlic.
In cast iron wock.
In cast iron skillet.I love my cast iron. "thumbsup"
Made me some tasty venison chip steak sandwiches after work tonight. Venison, onion, orange bell pepper, seasoned up and delicious. My dog helped make sure the floor stayed clean. He loves venison! I cut scraps off of three deer while we were butchering them and kept it all in a separate pile. I then spent a week making plain jerky dog treats. Enough to last until next deer season....
Catfish takes like pond scum and silt. Sandwich looks good though.
Bacon chicken strips are definitely on my list! How in the hell did I not think of that!? Probably cause my sweet chili chicken chunk sticks are so damn good anyways.
I have never found a chili powder hot enough so I made my own personal blend of peppers that will absolutely take your head off (Thai, black cobra, italian and some mystery chinese chili). A barely visible dusting will get your attention quick and keep it until the next morning. It makes me happy.
Heres's healthy sandwich for you Ashton. Two slices wheat toast, 5 egg whites, one Trader Joe hash brown, small sprinkle of shredded cheese and Happy Powder<one serving),="" happy="" powder="" and="" five="" egg="" whites.="" no="" butter="" in="" pan="" or="" condiments="" on="" bread.=""
. No additives in the pan or condiments. The hash brown provides the lube. </one>
The phrase "eating healthy" is relative and very personal. I don't like to label any food healthy or unhealthy. Case in point. I haven't had ice cream in a while and I want some. So I'm going to buy some and eat the hell out it. I call that eating healthy because if I don't eat some ice cream I might chop someone's head off. or maybe things won't get that drastic... But eating what you want when you deserve it is very medicating for an ex-big boy
I don't think one can eat healthy as much as one can live healthy.
