Food/Cooking

Anybody using an Induction range? How do you like it?
Our glass top cracked the other day and now we are looking at new ranges.

Don't have the full range but have a small stand alone induction "burner" and it works great. I don't know exactly how much faster it is then a normal glasstop but it seems like its half the time to get up to temp, though ours for the temp adjustment its in watts vs actual temp so that took awhile to get use to. I'm really thinking about just using one of them along with an air fryer in camper build vs the full oven setup.

Toaster ovens are the shit, and don’t take up a lot of space. I rarely use my full sized oven in my house, I have surprised a few girlfriends with how well I can cook with just a toaster oven.
An induction one burner and a toaster oven is a full kitchen for me, lol.

My wife and I have a Breville Smart Oven/Air Fryer toaster oven that gets way more use than our conventional oven. It preheats faster and doesn't add a ton of heat to the kitchen in the summer. It will cook a standard sized frozen pizza and will hold an 11 x 7 casserole dish. I've used most of the functions on it and they all work well and are not gimmicks.

Yeah we use the induction and air fryer a ton. I wish I had a kill-a-watt for 240v to actually see how much it cost to preheat the oven and use it vs the air fryer. Our last toaster oven died awhile back and we have been using the air fryer instead but obviously there are some things the toaster oven does better.
