Food/Cooking

Had the day off today and I usually just have a cup of coffee and toast for breakfast but today was different.... I wanted a pancake and I'm not talkin Aunt Jemima... I'm talkin pancake house pancake... A German Big apple pancake to be exact..... This is what went in.... And the result

Sautéed some apples with some butter and cinnamon sugar mix

Mixed up the batter... 3 eggs , 2/3 cup of milk, teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 cup flour... Mix it up good...

Put apples in baking dish and pour batter over them

Bake in oven at 425 f for 20 minutes or until edges are golden

Top with powdered sugar , garnish with a lemon wedge , throw some maple syrup on there and prepare for a diabetic coma.. Lol... It was awesome and serves at least 2 people.

The wife loved it!

That looks fantastic... I'm going to have to try that!

Just make sure to butter your baking dish.... It's even better if you have a cast iron skillet... Sauté the apples and pour the batter into the same skillet and right into the oven...

That makes me wanna have a go at little hot apple pies, maccas style.
Apple in chunks wrapped in puff pastry.Kinda like a hot pocket/kebab.

Had to take my baking dish out back and shoot it. Tried to kill me on many occasions with clog arteries and adding excessive weight to my manishly toned frame by providing me with a variety of quiches, graham cracker or oreo cookie ice cream dish's and countless berry and fruit pies.

Be very cautious of this wolf in sheep's clothing my freind.

You guys never fail to make me smile.....lol.... That was awesome!!

Just threw this guy in the oven, lb of ground beef, 1/2 lb of hot Italian sausage, egg, milk, breadcrumbs, onion, red pepper, jalapeño, Montreal seasoning and a little red pepper flake. I'll top it with a a1 marinade instead of ketchup at the end.

^Leftover mock White Castle sliders look good right 'bout now. mmmmm! With chiz, pickle relish, and some DiJon of course. Oh yeah, and on a couple soft, flour topped 2x2 rolls.

Tacos tonight. Lean ground beef with yellow onions and green peppers with secret season and sauce in crock. Topped with shredded cheddar and white onions. SMACK YO MOMMA!

Theyre the new 'stand 'n stuff' soft shells from Old El Paso. They work pretty good, better than regular soft tortillas imo.

Four of these babies and youre in a coma.....in Mexico....

Chicken breasts marinated in sauce below for about 16hrs. Charcoal grilled whilst basting towards the end. Topped with Jalapeno White Cheddar, and coated with sauce again. Served with chicken and broccolli rice and cheesy scalloped potatoes.
