Could be anything really. Could be a bookkeeping machine, old CAD box, local only media server, etc. only need internet access if your tools require external resources and I'm betting that not much past Internet explorer for Win95 requires external resources.

Bout got ran over by my ******* neighbors idiot kid in a car in front if my house/car. Them Fools always driving like tools! Managed to get a few steps backwards and was able to jump up high enough for my knees to clear the hood, to land on it! Called the 911, they did vitals, and a whole lot of nothingness after showing up, it seemed like the cops gave me the more 3rd degree, like that shit is my fault. WTF in the ER now, as my knee and some soft tissue on my legs started to hurt a few hours later after the adrenaline wore off.

Went out for a lunch crawl with this little one to my local spot around work ... Big parking lot with landscape and some knee high rocks to entertain for 10-20 mins :D

The fun ended after with my 1:1 Yota up on a flat bed towed home. Sucks but I am happy and fortunate it happened in the parking lot at maybe 3 MPH  .... Replace your Ball Joints Gents!!! 😨

Its got north of 245,000 on the clock and 24 years old I ain't mad at the thing and is so much fun to drive its got a manual... I heard the signs last week while at good chicken sandwich Drive thru and peeked around the steering column over the weekend but i missed the joints while inspecting. I've had my share of previous failed ball joints from the Toyota truck's I have owned so its a thing if you own one and pay attention to the signs ... you don't want this to happen at speed. Too much collateral damage for fairly cheap parts. 🤯😵 It has happened to me before 😵‍💫 . You cannot blame the part that has been used for 1/4 of a million miles and 24 years. Juts be aware of the wear and tear and the fact that you have to understand that things need service and replacement parts just my 🪙🪙.

Oh well.... I ordered a set of all 4 B-Joints from Toyota .... Some cold beers, good beats and wrenching are on the weekends agenda. There will be RC Crawling as well. Happy Friday Everyone!!!!

funny that you mentioned I was tempted to set it back int the join and use a strap to drive it back to my works shop but AAA is amazing or at least has been in my experience. I did have to wait for a flat bed for about 30 mins but there was some crawling involved while waiting. 😁

I hear ya ... there is advantages and disadvantages from living out in the sticks man.... I suppose they do not have as many dispatched tows waiting around in that part of town.
