What did you do to your TRX-4 today?

Very cool. Nice job on the weathering.

I have a Axial 52 chevy body for the same kind of affect. I'm not quite as patient as you however. LOL

I actually had a F250 High-boy back in the day, a 1976 model, owned from 1979 to 1989. Those trucks were dabomb. "thumbsup"

The good old days. Now all the trucks do is beep at you. Took me two weeks to figure out why the F250 steering wheel was vibrating.

Running a hard body now

Added rear LED roof bar as an auxiliary back up light tapped into the Pro Scale kit that is activated when Pro Scale reverse lights come on..
Also tapped into Pro Scale brake lights for a high mount 3rd LED light activated when Pro Scale brake lights come on.

Cut the Bronco Body up a tad to allow the sliders from IE RC to be spaced up to be even with the electronics mounting trays.

Found a great new zone. Unfortunately I had a big roll off a cliff and broke the rear axle. Happy to see its only going to cost me $12.

Out around the neighbourhood with my nephew. TRX4 tactical and Element enduro TrailWalker 4x4. Was better than playing video games in my opinion at least.

I fixed the front diff lock that didn't want to engage after I'd installed overdrive some two weeks ago.
Turned out that the problem was the wire was turned the wrong way, causing it to get stuck in the axle housing.

Rust on the frames at the front, so I sanded the rust off and painted them with black Hammerite

Took the front axle apart to check the bearing for rust caused by water entering it, the bearings in the portal housings are fine as are the ones in the differential, but the ones where the uv joint is, need to be replaced, got to replace some of the stainless cap head bolts with new ones because the hex had stripped, so I cut a slot in them with a dremel and cutting disk, so that I could use a screwdriver to remove them

Well, you use your TRX-4, that's for sure. Looking good.

Sure do use the defender TRX4, I drove through a load of muddy water at the weekend and some got into the front dii via the drive shaft tunnels, hence the tear down and inspection, the rear axle was fine, because it is a rigid unit

So, I saw Kevin Talbot put O-rings on the axleshafts to keep water out. I bet if you put two o-rings with grease between them it would be more or less watertight.

Thanks for the tip. Have you got a link as to how he fitted the O-rings
