Shizdialed! Hole in servo mount just happens to be in the same spot I drilled the axle pumpkin! Take 2mm length off the 2.5mm buttonhead screw, littel JBWeld under the aluminum piece, tighten screws and bam! :ror:

Picture updated, I removed orange spacer, trimmed screw down couple millimeters, trimmed the 2.5mm screw that goes from inside axle housing and through the cut up G-Made servo mount (red peice) and added 3mm flat washer (bent to curved surface of housing) between housing and red bit.

Had a great time at Crawl for a Cure 2019 with Rockhugger, Erica, Ed, et al! Start of the 'competition' trail:
One of many gates, started the day about 5am and arrived home very late, had an awesome hike (great exercise and tiny trucks!), lots of tacos before the afternoon raffle drawings,

Just received new slider outer pieces from BPC to accomodate the wide K5 Blazer and K10 bodies, fits great! Thanks Bruce!

Holy crap, finally sliders for the K5 that don't look like crap and don't have huge holes for rocks to get caught in!
To be honest I'd be fine with plastic floorboards like the SCX10 II has, but steel is good too. ;-)

Agreed, steel is nicer for weight down low. the realistic sounds scraping rocks, and they don't bend around while rock rubbing like plastic can. 8)"thumbsup"
I just looked and they are under Vaterra Ascender section on page 2, but they don't have the wider outer bits like mine. I emailed Bruce to ask him to put that on his website (he's a small shop so website not always up to date, service and shipping is fast), but you can fill in the contact/email info and he will get back with you. 8)"thumbsup"

Cut out Pro-Line’s 1946 Dodge Power Wagon, loves this body! Might push the bed up flush with back of cab, deciding whether to cut out lexan sliders and narrow up the fenders. Going with inside and outside paint.

The PW is a cool body in that it can look great with or without fenders and running boards. I can appreciate the internal dialog that goes on before a guy cuts off those beautiful fenders...lol. The fenders keep it a bit true to tradition, without them it's a PW with its sleeves rolled up. Lookin lean and crawlin mean.
Thanks! They've got BPC laser cut steel sliders underneath the lexan, not sure what I'll finish the outside with. Either the BPC steel outer slider pieces or a piece of delrin or? "thumbsup"

Edit' Looking at Wertymade front bumpers, I've no longer got an SCX10 around to measure, does anybody know if outside to outside of frame rails is same between SCX and Ascender or?

Old trusty Va'Blazer Number 1 made the trip with us.
Steel plate cover over 90’ vertical shaft dug by hand (aided by dynamite) so that they could dig from four directions (not only would they work from the outside in on tunnel , they’d work from the inside out) through solid granite so as to speed up tunneling for the Central Pacific Railroad in 1866. Rate of digging on the main shaft was only about 10 inches per day!
When hoisting rock by hand derrick became too difficult, they anchored a locomotive engine atop the shaft to become a hoisting engine. Notice the rusty old bolts used to anchor the stream engine to the granite.

We were crawling on the mountain and granite they were tunneling through, near Donner Pass. There is a trail that leads down to the tunnel the train passes through. Maybe next time we will explore that. There is a lot of history in the area, not to mention the first axial fest. :ror:
