What did you do today?

I was supposed to finish moving out today. (Divorce)
However, I was tasked with dad duty that involved taking the oldest to a swim meet up the road 1.5 hours each way, sitting there from 10:00ish. Until we got home at 1900, just for him to perform for 28 some seconds in 50m and a minute and a half for 200m back stroke. What a waste of a day really.

I did bring my H10 to assemble. But, I didn't know that I needed a 1.5mm driver for the internals of the axles, and didn't own 😕 one either. (aliexpress set wore out) Lucky me there was R&R hobbies in Folsom CA, a few shifts, stops, turns and a drift away.
Went to there quickly to grab the Traxxas set of drivers after my kid finished swimming, before he got out.
I hope its a good set! I also almost ripped the rest of the front lip off my Gr86 on their parking stop, it was much taller than expected. (I'll blame that on the new glasses which have all 3 distances)

Cool dudes, small shop, but said could order anything. Also dealt with used crawler stuff!!!!!

Not sure if I want to do some moving or H10 assembly for the remainder of the day, as, well, neither one of them got accomplished today.

That’s too bad your son’s meet was such a waste, at least you got to leave and do rc stuff.

It has been a while since I’ve done the inside of a new poly body. Turned out okay, I rushed through it (seeming to ever have enough time) wanted to hydro dip it, or crinkle paint the fenders. I’ll live with it, I’ll get another at the end of next series maybe. We will see how long this one lasts, hopefully I don’t end up on my lid to often.

worked. then went and spent 150 on a sump pump for the new mechanical room I put in last fall... water was starting to get to where it shouldn't. Still have to do some work to it and pipe it into my septic field. But for the moment, it will keep the water at bay.

Went through and got a bunch of stuff cleaned up and listed on marketplace today. Shocks, wheels/tires, more tires, receivers, ESCs, and some old Futaba transmitters. Mostly just spare parts and stuff that I don't plan on using.

I took a chance in ordering another front grill from Axial for the early Bronco. Turns out that they may have fixed the issue of the front grill curve that you see in all out-the-box early Bronco's ... I haven't seen a stock grill that's flat yet?

Only took about 3 hours to do the cutting out, painting the rad and emblem then refit.

Anyways, the replacement grill lies nice and flat as it should so I'm a happy chap.

You did! That curve would bug the hell outta me. I actually need to do the same with my printed grill on the Knightrunner. Mine curved in when it needs to be slightly curved out/convexed.

Yeah, annoying to say the least. Just something else to be ticked off now. Keep asking myself if I need a printer and always seem to say nope ... no more hobbies lol

Well for the last month ive been moving out of my house/garage into this:

"Floorplan" , lol, has changed, and has my 62" workbench/toolbox "flush" up against the front. It's 25" wide and I was able to squeeze a twin murphy bed in between (still have to make that wood frame) metal bedframe is bought, same with kit.
