Tried to go on a Dual Sport ride today, got rained out... It was dumping...
So went home and bought a new fishing pole...Kokanee specific pole for a trip next weekend, hopefully, been trying for 3 weeks now...
Then went to my dad's house and he helped me mount the new Renthal bars on my Motorcycle...

I got to get out from behind a desk today and be out in the field. It was a nice change of pace, even met a friend.

That's a great picture, smog. Man I love snakes and spiders and other creepy crawlies... just as long as they don't "surprise!" me.
No pics but my wife and I discovered that we have a den of venomous snakes in one of our flower beds. And what's more is that she loves to handle them which is not exactly typical of a suburban girly-girl. Now as hazardous as this may sound, these are southern black-headed snakes. They grow to all of about 8-10" and their little mouths are way too small to actually latch on to a human. Plus they only envenom to kill prey... not as a defense. So... really cool to watch and interact with.. but aside from me getting to say that my wife plays with venomous snakes, they pose absolutely no threat lol.

Its an indiana thing lol. Chocolate puddin with crushed up oreos, then a layer of cool whip with some oreo dustin. Sooooo good. My aunt makes it a different way than i do, n hers is way better than mine lol
That sounds like a Sonic Oreo Blast but pudding instead of ice cream. Caloriesssss

I ordered a sight pusher, and some Meprolights (my favorite) and put them on the wife's G45 last night. This is the third or fourth set I've done, getting quicker at fitting the rear sight.
Moving about a yard or 2 clay/sand out to it over the next few days. Then I'll likely need to get some more dirt to finish it up.

I went fishing again, ughhh summer heat wave is killer right now... 102*. Goin g to try to get out on the bike tomorrow, but the wife is fighting me on it... Might have to take the truck...
I feel u, its high 90s but the index is atleast 10° higher. Cant hardly breath here. Rained a bit this mornin, but fat chance of it coolin anything down lol
I get a little excited whenever I see something forming in the gulf. I don't wish destruction on anyone so I don't ever want a full-blown hurricane but tropical depressions/ storms are about the only possible relief that we'll see here in central Texas until late Sept/ Oct. Had to mow/ weed-eat, etc yesterday and today I feel like I ran a marathon... stayed inside most of the day.

Brought the wife up to silver City, about 35 miles round trip on dirt and about 65 miles on pavement. Ole girl is running good, but the drivetrain has some nasty metal clunking going on. Got to get that fixed, I am pretty sure the TTB pivot bushings are shot, and sounds like a rear u joint is a little loose... Just guesses at this point, but might be...
