Thats a lot of parts! You know those tires are tiny yes? I had a set. they might as well be 1.55's. wish I had known you were buying all new. I would have highly recommend ascender axles . for around the same price you get 45dg of steering angle with no mods.

I have the tires in hand already. I bought them for the size specifically. As for the axles, I am not a fan of the ascender axles. Not to mention, they are nearly the same price.

YAY!!! I won't be the only one running a class 1 rig at maidens cliff, the the defender 90 is going to get a beating

Going for more of a scale look. They are 3.8". I think they look pretty cool.
Now I just need to wait for the 800 boxes! Always like big projects like this.

The ascender axles look very scale. Cvd axle shafts 45 dg of stearing angle. And they all come with hd pinions now. They are beefy for the size. I had trex axles. Look scale . i didnt like them. They are made for leafs. Its was a little pricey to convert to 4 link. Hey u may like them and they work great for what you want. Dont get me wrong.

I decided on black and orange. Still has the overspray film and window masks still on, and need to do a little touch up here and there. I'll get better pics when the decals are on but here she is.

Second and largest hiccup. The T-Rex axles I wanted are easy enough to find. The 4 link truss and hardware, is not. At least a 2 week wait.
So I scrapped that, will be returning the axles.
Ordered all SSD. Axle cases, Chubs, Knuckles, etc...
This will be my most expensive truck to date. I hope it goes together like I have it in my head LOL
At the very least, it'll be shiny! For a little while.

I think you will like those better then the t-rex axles. looks good so far "thumbsup"

More progress on the new truck. Got the body, paint, MMP, Motor, driveshafts, servo and trans today.
Still waiting for the axles. And bumpers.
I disassembled the chassis and am reassembling with all stainless hardware.
This will be the paint scheme. Gunmetal grey as the main color and black trim. Reverse of picture basically.
