What are you working on??

Having issues getting the new body and cage how I wanted it. so the old body is getting another run. One the plus side. Duel winches are in and all the wiring is done. Had to cut the middle out of the sliders. Couldn't get it to fit without hitting the front drive shaft. Then my dumb a$$ broke off the drivers side. Paint was hiding tiny tack welds. had to dig out the brazing rod to fix it.

Took the ZJ-10 out for some poser shots yesterday!!!
I'm getting super close to being ready for a paint job!!!!!

...and the pics didn't upload.....
wtf?

After Sundays disappointment . I got to thinking last night. I had my rear servo plugged into the wrong channel. That would have made it less aggravating, but still would have left early with no way to fix the missing upper link bolt on the front axle. Oh well , regroup and i'll get it up maidens next run.

Hopefully these won't break like the stock dog bones did in the trials truck. Completely unimpressed with rc4wd quality at this point.

Different the springs and tires(including spare) on the D90. Gained a almost an inch ground clearance . Can't wait to hit ragged mtn.

Little more progress.

Working on mounting the body / bumpers. Hoping for a mounting solution that doesn't use visible body clips and no drilling of the body.
The bumpers look nice and are aluminum, but the mounting hardware is trash. I have never seen such garbage! So alternative mounting is required.

Robert. I used velcro on my ascender. Cut the top of the posts flat. Drill holes in the end then mount a plate on that.

I've been a fan of magnets lately. I used earth magnets for the back seat of the jeep so I could get too the clips.

Ya they are a pain, but well worth it in the end. They look awesome!

All that's left is wiring some LEDs. It's very quiet! Very little slop in these higher end parts. Very happy so far.

I scrapped those crappy boomracing shocks. I don't know if I got a bum set or what. In your hand they feel smooth. Put them on the truck and they are worthless. They bind like crazy. Perhaps I can return them or sell them. Stock shocks for the moment. I need shorter shocks. The 110mm wraith shocks are too long.
