Steering/Suspension Aluminum, Titanium, Delrin links. Custom made

Hey Erik,

How about a high clearance steering setup for the LNC/LCC since it appears nobody is making them anymore?

Chris

Money sent for one pair straight links.
3/16" Titanium, 5 1/8" total length, Threaded for Revo ends.
Details also on paypal order.
Thought this thread needed a bump"thumbsup"

Ever made links for a secret agent?

Krawl's measurements;

link lenghts are as follows and all measurements are eye to eye.

front lowers:
123.75mm

front uppers:
120mm

rear lowers:
140.5mm

reur uppers:
140.5mm,

And I assume with pics you could replicate his bends?

Thanks Steve!

In the future, please let me send a request. I am glad you made this post because your payment email went straight to my junk mail box  By sending a request to you, it helps me keep things straight and not miss anything.

I will get them out today for you "thumbsup"

I could custom make the links for you but I am out of the custom bends game unless I plan on making a kit. Chaotic makes links for this car so I wont be doing any for it. Thanks for the interest though. "thumbsup"

Erik, any ability to thread a link with a through hole - in Titanium?

I need a 3/16" or 1/4" link threaded for revo ends, problem is I'd like to mount the drag link onto this link not at the Knuckle.

Yeah, I could. Drilling the hole woudlnt be too tough, I would dread tapping the hole though.

Thanks Steve!

Sorry man, I totally forgot! You had told me before why you do it this way.

Just wanted to say thanks to erik for the awesome links for my t1e special ops chassis. I ended up going with 1/8ti uppers and some 3/16 AL stuff for the uppers incase I bend them, 3/16 Ti for all the lower links. It took roughly 3 days after I ordered them to get from Utah to Alabama. Great customer service also. You have a customer for life bud."thumbsup"

Wow the 3/16 stuff looks huge next to the 1/8" stuff. Cant wait to pull the 1/4" stuff off and see what the difference in weight is. Should be a good bit!

Glad you got it, or most of it.

Let me know the weight savings from 1/4 to 3/16 and even the 1/4 to 1/8! I think those 1/8 will work for you but you never know.

Thanks again!

The weight saving is pretty big. I weighed everything last night and compared it to a set of front 1/4 VP lowers I had sitting around. I will post up some pics a little later on. The 1/8 stuff is just crazy and the Aluminum is very close as well, probably within a few grams of the Ti stuff.

Also wanted to say thanks to Erik for resolving an issue that I didnt even know was there before the links got to me. I had one set of links that were the wrong length, basically one pair got sent to someone else. He told me to keep the wrong links and he would send me another pair out, no charge. I can use the wrong length links (ones for my Special ops chassis) on another rig and offered to buy them but he just told me to keep them. Thanks for taking care of your customers "thumbsup"

I will try to get the weight differences up tonight compared to my 1/4 VP links and my 3/16 Lungsford links. Its pretty big especially with the 1/8" Ti uppers. I really need a jewelers scale to weigh those things. lol

EDIT:
I ended up loosing a little over 2oz total. Before I had 3/16 Ti upper and lowers in the front and 1/4 Ti upper and lower in the rear. The 1/4" stuff is way way over kill IMO but some people want overkill in that area and I was one of those when i put them on there. Erik changed my mind about that! I took a few pics with just the Dlux links on the scales and have those pictures somewhere. If anyone just has to see it to believe it I will get the pics up, other wise I am to damn lazy to do anything today other than lay on the couch.

Your PM box is full....

You might want to check with Chaotic. I think they already have links figured out for this chassis.

As soon as I get my chassis, I will be putting in a order for links and steering links for my zilla rig"thumbsup". Cant wait.
