Optic Kit Coming

Hmmm... Interesting - right now, the YRUCEC.com site comes up as :

Sorry, this store is currently unavailable.

I like the idea of using this type of link and almost ordered some a week or so ago, except the price of these plus the Vanquish rod-ends was a bit steep. What would be great would be if we could find another product that would serve the same purpose, or maybe someone will release a less expensive version.
Hmmm. Came right up for me on chrome. ??? Checked on my shipment.

Just a comment on smoking: if you try to quit because you think you should, it's unlikely that you will be successful. When the day comes that you decide that you don't want to smoke anymore, well, that's the day you'll quit.
Exactly >I have quit twice previously. Its all mind over matter.
Unfortunately, most don't have that mindset. But the actual cost is getting Fricken REDONKulous. about 10.00 a pack now here in Michigan, 7ish of which is state taxes.
Some folks have been using the shorter linkage from the VFD twin shift linkage kit. It is available from Vanquish, but they are $9.99 each and you need two. IRC00073
or 4 with rear steer.
Shipping was 12.00 as they are coming out of Hong Kong for the yurcec stuff.
that was 12 with just the 2 packages of links, or for my whole order, which included the jeep frontend and rear shock mount kit.

I just looked and its under a new name. Overreach Designs...

I didn't notice the name change yesterday. lol Appears my order is still kicking around HK before it leaves.

Built the shocks today. Installed the TiNi coated shock shafts and machined pistons. Didn't realize the caps were not Machined Aluminum, so will have to order a set of them and collars for the springs. If I knew, I would have ordered them with the other stuff, but Black are Out of Stock everywhere I looked, even Tower. Would be nice to see VP start having some things in GOLD Anodizing like Shock caps collars. I have the Battle Born livery and Red Blue and Orange don't cover yellow. lol Orange is close, but to different IMO. I could always strip and anodize them myself, but an.. So I'll wait till black caps are available.
50wt in the F and 60 in the R. If the torque twist is as bad as some have said, which is why they used a bit heavier oil on the one rear shock, I May up that shock to 70w, but we'll see.

At any rate. Did a youboob vid, spent 1/2 the time trying to find more Eclips as I lost one, and bent 2... GRRRR. After finding an old set of shocks and stealing a couple clips, I found the spare in the parts bag, and found one on the floor, but still have 1 or 2 on the floor hiding somewhere.

So the vid is long but me looking for clips 1/2 the time. lol
It is what it is.

Just bought a set of Trepadors on Amazon because there is a 25% off coupon right now. $52.88 for a full set isnt bad.

My son's kit is drivable. I need to order another programmer for the fusion, as my last one somehow got squished and i need to reverse the rotation. Also need to swap hubs. These are 350s. Going to swap to 475. I need to get some petg CF and print new panels. The pla panels were kinda messed up.
Thanks for that info! I got 2 rather than 4 Trepador tires for Christmas and just ordered the other 2 at full price today on AMain. I cancelled the AMain order and ordered the 2 Trepadors from Amazon and saved a few bucks.

Cage is about 90% done. Need to do some painting and detailing at this point. So the interior will be coming back out for that to get done. Now I wait a little bit more for the Clamps from HTech, Rear shock mounts, jeep style grille, and spacers for the steering ram links along with the VP black rod ends I just ordered along with a Rock Jock Anti Sway Bar for it, which I think it can have? Guess I didn't look and just assumed it would fit.

I've seen pics on a website of an H10 Optic with the Vanquish Rock Jock Antirock Yeti Sway Bar V3 mounted up on it.

Should work fine!

The Y

Treal delivering the goods. Aluminum bearing carriers.
Nice! For a second they had me fooled and I thought these were brass. Not that that would add a significant amount of weight. Thanks for sharing!

The YRUCEC website works for me.

Will one of you guys with the YRUCED H10 link measure the length of the link part? If I can find a spacer with the correct length, I will make my own. Shipping just kills this deal for me.

I thought I did also, which is what I figured it would work, and its VP so more likely than not its set to work.

Mine are still not out of HK. But when they arrive, I'll grab a measurement if someone else hasn't already go it.

FWIW< I heard guys saying the small link in the VP Twin Links works... But you get 1 small and 1 long link for 10.00 and will need 2.

I appreciate that offer!

I saw the shift link will work and two of those are about the same amount as me ordering the links and paying for shipping from YRUCEC.

Matching grills? Am I missing something? Id like to get Teal and Orange and, hopefully, change up the appearance like its a different rig. But if this ends up being one of my favorites and most run, we all know that just means a second one is needed set up slightly different for different terrain/obstacles...just the way she goes

We can figure it out right now fairly simply.

The stock link is 52.73mm End to End (not eye to eye FYI).
VP Metal Link Ends are 22.29mm each so 44.58mm total.

52.73 - 44.58 = 8.15mm link/spacer area needed to fill the gap.

They are talking about the HWO Jeep style grille.
