Hey Chris, just thought maybe you could answer a question for me.

I'm not sure if I have the over heat treated axles or not. I just got my Venom on Sat. and haven't put them in yet.

My brother said he could check them at his work and heat them with a torch to bring them back with in spec. If they need it.

Do you know or could you find out what the hardness spec. is using the Rockwell scale?

Hi Bob, I know the spec but I cant release any tech info. If he can test the metal and harden it for you thats pretty cool he knows what he's doing.

Yeah he has been a Machinists for many years has a bridge port mill in his basment along with a few lathes. Maybe I can get him to make me some parts. hehe.

Anyway he said he has an idea of what ballpark they might be in. Just thought I'd ask.

Well Chris I got my axles back from my brother. He said he thought they were very strong at 45 to 50 Rockwells. Had them in for a day ran 4 batterys thru them with no problems. So I guess I got a good set."thumbsup"

Any official release date for the dig unit? Would like to know if I should hold off buying a new steering servo for a couple more weeks so that I will have money when the dig unit does come out.

(2) C hubs
(4) Him links
(ALL) The stock axle, drive shaft, pins
(1) Front locker
(1) front skid plate

I understand that things can be over heat treated no big deal but it should but up to venom to fix these problems not the consumer

wow thats a lot of carnage. what motor are you running in that thing? I have a 35t warrior with a 3c lipo and the only thing i've "broken" is the pin that connects the driveshaft to the CVD.... that decided to slide itself out... contact venom and see what they will do for you. For a lot of people here they have been replacing the parts. "thumbsup"

im running a 55 turn motor and 18 teeth pinon and getting a hold of venom is next to impossible iv called to many time it is pissing me off CHRIS maybe you can help me

i got my kit i have a broken diff gear one of the little bronze ones... also the diff lock thing is very hard to get working the remote diff lock kit will not actuate it... i hope they fix it... i might just sell mine.

Whats the problem with your remote locker setup? For mine, I had to add a spring that would push the locker in and then I setup the servo to pull the locker out and I have yet to have a problem with my setup.
