What do you mean when you say "tech"? Fabrication?

I don't have jack for metal working tools besides a Dremel, a vise, $30 Wiss hand-sheet metal brake, bench grinder, band saw (haven't used it yet, just got it), mapp gas torch, and Wiss tin snips. It's fun to make something even if it comes out like complete crap. Next rig I build will be done from scratch just to see if I can do it. 1/2" box steel, flat stock, solid rod, and some sheet metal. Braze it together and see what happens. If it looks remotely like a truck I'll be happy.

You have more than I do..i some aluminum tubing..some steele rod and some styrene material wise...I have a 2 dremels, a hacksaw, some tubeing cutters and basic hand tools alonf with a soldering stations and some solder...So im not sure what he wants to see TECH/FABRICATION wise from me to so call redeem myself with his offer...I didn ask that and got no reply...Can I buy some things ill need to do things I had in mind..yes I can..but im not investing a bunch of money into stuff to make cages and custom chassis as I have no need for them nor do I want them..So that's where I stand..You can still think whatever because I don't have what he may want me to have to redeem myself.:roll:

Had this been a few years back id make whatever he wanted to see as I had access to equipment with my job...now I don't..so sorry

He has seen something I made that improves performance already and I made it by hand with a dremel tool from carbon fiber and I can make more if I wanted but not from carbon fiber as im out of it unfortunately but I am getting more because I promised someone I would make them a set to try out.

proper tools?...
you dont need alot of tools to be crafty.

i built this rig with a dremel, basic tubing bender, and the el-cheapo home depot oxy/mapp setup.

no workbench, no drillpress, no vice... everything i do is out of the back of my zuk or over my knee...

i know its not your thing, but its total homebrew and certainly aint just bolting on bling...

I don't want or need a heavy caged rig..So why do I want to make something I don't want...Is this going to be the next troll topic for you guys to eat up and keep this going.?
