Did I not explain and show I understood why some use a 3s?????many many mnay times over I explained in a way you should've understood I saw others points of view..But it was my points for my reasons that got the insults and turned the thread wrong...So basicly it was one sided and not on my behalf.

Sorry I'm late to the party kids. It's shameful of the head troll and assclown to be so tardy but I'm here now so let the good times roll.

My question came BEFORE your new version...I do believe you and I talked in PM and before you even telling me what you had planned.. I mentioned to you about moving the link mounts back to clear the driveshaft and correct the rear pinion angle also as a benefit using stock upper link lengths...So my bad for trying to help you..We seemed to be on the same page design wise..My Home made versions are still on my truck and work however.

Actual time frames (all times mountain):

Tried a design for the outside of the chassis, but it wouldn't work with any sliders, so back to the inside of the chassis. Inset the mount a little to clear the driveshaft:

This will work for stock driveshafts and those just slightly bigger, but extended outputs, etc will get in the way.

Took a couple pics of the risers and how it helps anti-squat as well as the pinion angle:

I will have a build thread on it very soon, but wanted to get RULR pics up for tonight. (Same camera phone as the other shots, not even good lighting on these, but they came out way better than the other shots... wierd.)
(Pics removed because you can see them by clicking the link if you want.

Ive made my own brackets for the anti squat set up but id like to share with you some things ive found out..Alot will be putting these on vehicles with maybe different length links because they changed pinion angles..Id like to propse to you a new set of brackets that improve things in more than one way for stock scx10 owners or those with at least stock upper length links.

It seems you can move the mounting points back more away from the big end of the driveshafts and improve pinion angles at the same time..kill 2 birds with one stone performance wise.

2 ways to change pinion angles basicly. make shorter links to raise the angle or change mounting location which is what im proposing to you.

Make the mounting points further back so pinion angle is improved as well over stock..you can still use the stock length links also..and the added height still provides the anti squat effect but will have zero clearance issues with any driveshaft set.

I made some myself and had the same clearance issues but determined I needed a better pinion angle as well and that's what I came up with.

...

Im only making mine for personal use and don't intend to sell on here but I just wanted to give these suggestions as it seems like it could be a home run piece for you as a vendor on here..i see it already has interest but it can be better.

...

Let me know what you think of the idea and if you like it and its sells well just hook me up with a couple pairs I would use on my rigs...well call it even.8)"thumbsup"

This was a week late. From the beginning the intention was to increase anti-squat, the pinion angle was a bonus that I found out with the prototype when I installed it on a stock JK.
You later proposed something to prevent rotation, which was pointed out that is why the plastic versions look like that, they key into the chassis rails.
I appreciate that you were trying to help, but I already covered what you were proposing.

Im sure your aluminum versions will solve the breakage issues you have with using ABS plastic..Mine are actually made of carbon fiber..I know its a cost issue for you so not faulting you for trying to make them as cheap as possible.

The *steel* V3's are bomb-proof. I'd love to see the vehicle that survived trying to break them... The plastic ones are pretty stout, but the software issue caused quite a bit of breakage. There are plenty out there with the plastic version that are working just fine.

The reason I haven't purchased some from you is I don't care for the finish..Your finish leaves a lot of sharp edges through the surface that can create stress cracks...Just my opinion but one that has stopped me from purchasing them.

3D printed parts have a specific finish. This can be sanded down if you want, but I find the beauty in the raw finish, and leave that up to the end-user. The "sharp edges" you mention are miniscule, as in smaller than .001mm with the resolution that I was printing at. The surface contact of each layer is much larger, and absolutely NONE of the breakage occurred because of x-y lamination. Any breakage happened from z-layer lamination due to lack of infill or deleted layers.

One thing to keep in mind is that sarcasm doesn't transmit well over the internet, so be cautious of how you use it. Just adding a smiley face is not the universal signal that you were being sarcastic.

Quite a big jump in time frame there don't you think..I do have money..and it was a response to insulting reponse..IIm sure im not the only who has some money..Instead use it out of context and try to use that as a defense???

It was called smack talk thread...Is it not smack talk saying you can do on a 2s what someone else can on a 3s...whats so bad about that statement that should start insults???..maybe the title was a mistake but it wasn't the title that started the insults..it was my beleifs on using a 2s instead of a 3s..dont get the 2 mixed up.

Again the thread was started to remove it from another persons thread so it didn't intrude on their build and nothing more.

I see. You don't understand that talking smack is a competitive form of insulting people. Because of the poor sentence structure and strange punctuation I don't really understand what I'm not supposed to mix up. Could you explain it to me.

I like when you get mad and use extra punctuation.

Talking smack and insulting I don't see as the same thing you do.

Like I said maybe it was titled wrong..so be it...the content however was a friendly discussion about me using a 2s battery and my being able to do the same things I see other do with a 3s...Ill grant I lose some benefits but as I explained it wasn't enough that I wanted to spend more money on the truck for those benefits...Unfortunately that couldn't be accepted and insults started flying...And now here we are again.

Agree or disagree?

Well as you could see I had good intentions...ive already made a set for my truck like I say before I saw yours out..And I even helped promote your brackets for whatever its worth with positive words because I know what the brackets do to improve performance, rather I made them or you made them..didn't matter...Im not a vendor so I cant promote and sell mine on here..even though I will be elsewhere..I knew the aluminum versions would be better for the more higher powered vehicles so I gave props as you can read if you search...I plan to make versions also in aluminum and more in carbon fiber.

So no hard feelings..and to those reading this I personally recommend His anti squat brackets..The aluminum versions.

Nobody said anything about your momma, wife, or child. I thought everyone was having fun. You just got your feelings hurt. Run what ever you want to run. There is no reason to lie to people about what it's going to cost them to run 3s.

Maybe those threads ive read and people in my mails telling me they agree about a 3s were all liars too?..I don't have to use a 3s to know 3.7 more volts adds a lot more power and therefore stress on parts..Like even some of you guys have said; you've broken everything on a 2s before..So how or why you would see it as im lying I don't get..but again..some of you read something and see something completely different in your minds.

My bottom line is; this was a while ago..I deleted the thread to end it and move on..A mod decides he wants to bring it back to keep you guys happy or whatever...You guys are the ones who cant let it go and have to follow me to every single thread I do that's got nothing to do with any of you...So you figure it out and decide what you want to do...but its really like pulling teeth explaining myself over and over and over again..If you haven't gotten it by now then phone a friend, use 50/50..i don't care anymore..done with it.

If anyone has any questions pertaining to the thread build ill be happy to answer legitimate questions..If you want to troll this thread expect no more responses from me on it.

Have a great day gentleman.

your a bunch of f*cktard trolls and ruining peoples threads might seem like a fun thing to do if you're touched in the head! But you're also ruining the experience of others on this forum. I for one don't appreciate having to read your drivel and it makes me wonder what sort of people you really are? I thought this was the best crawler forum around till I started seeing the trolling that goes on here. Mods you ought to be ashamed that this crap goes on here after all that is the purpose of a moderator to stop this retarded idiocy from happening.

I come from the drifting community and am a member of the DriftMission forums, this shit would not be possible over there. they nip this crap in the bud before it gets out of hand like it does here.

x2 I had a thread pulled by an admin just for saying I had something up on the wanted section for trade. Never said what it I wanted for it or a price. and it gets yanked anyway. But they allow this stupidity to go on. Had I known this is how they operate I wouldn't have bought a star. Shame on you admins for not doing your jobs!

Ive had 2 removed but the admin that handled that was pretty cool if you talk to him...Some of the rules are a bit of a stretch but it was worked out and I haven't had any more problems with ads.

If you want to trade something..put it in the for sale section and just list a price of what you would want for it if you sold it as per the rules.

You cant list what you think something is worth in a trade in the trade section however...Sort of one sided but that's how it is.

Just say..i have such and such for sale or possible trades...asking x amount shipped or plus shipping etc...if you can sell it then just use the money to get what youre after to begin with.
