New T1E Berg build

Hurry up and get it done. I need some more Bergs at the SC comps. Need all the help I can get to beat a VP 10

Rear axle mocked up with the old gears while the fronts are being drilled. I guess I could take the polisher to them and make them nice and shiney while Im waiting

Nice clean job on the wiring, I can't say the same for mine yet.

I left all the wires stock length except for the extra long BEC power wires which I shorted a good bit. The rest I folded up neatly then used a little heat shrink around them to keep them that way. It's a tight fit but not that hard to get all in there. Just enough room to mount the Mambas to the sideplates and slide the BEC in between them. My 4pl should be here Thursday or Friday so the RX will go on the rear extension and then assembly on the cab and uppers is next.

The last few pieces to my puzzle arrived today from Clover Custom Designs (66Bronco) the Front tubes, steering and drilled gears were just delivered and the UPS man brought my Futaba 4PL. Now if I really wanted I guess I could work all night on assembly and make the drive to ECC tomorrow then run untested on Saturday morning :flipoff:, but I'll think I'll wait till next year

Looks like you and I have pretty much the same set up all around. I've just got a electrical issue somewhere, and it eats servo arms like I eat hamburgers8)

Which servo are you using? I went to the 7950th on the last Berg andhavent had a problem with them at all

Its a 7950. Well I know what killed my last one it was the rock that the arm dead centered. Hopefully I get this truck squared away so I can start bike on my motorcycle.

IT'S ALIVE ! ! !

Did some assembly tonight and slid a battery on the tray and it works "thumbsup"

Now time to cut and mount some skins tomorrow afternoon

Skin that cat Eric. Turned out real nice. Your custom panels are really gonna set off. "thumbsup"

Looks like I have to work on DPG Saturday too. Let me know if you plan to be off for sure. I'll see what I can do to get my day covered and we both can give DPG the whoopin' it deserves.

How much K. weight did you end up loading for now?

Im going to try and get the day off for DPG but it really depends on our workload and the weather.

I used 2 100 rings for the knuckles. I did get some wide hexes to run the 300 rings if I need more. I'll get out this week, get some batteries thru it and see how it does they way it is. Im gonna do another set of shocks with different piston and weight set up because it feels a little tight right now. I did reposition the shocks and redid the mounts with fuel line instead of the Traxxes mounts which did let the shocks move much

this rockshow cab is really really nice!!!!!!

ive got 2 y-town bj's and if i didnt have them ..... it would be REALLY hard to choose which chassis to go for!!!!

:D

that breakover angle looks spot on!!!
