New T1E Berg build

2 down and 2 to go

DHClaws.jpg

I will agree mounting the boss claws are a pain. I didn't have a problem on my DH's just my SLW's. I'll go ahead and tell you the wheelbase will be short or at least mine was when I got the chassis together the other week"thumbsup"

If you put at least 3 screws in the ring and tighten them a turn or two then stuff the bead and that "rim protector" up under the beadlock ring it will force the bead into the channel. Then you can tighten the beadlock down all the way around and when you get done just pull on the sidewall until the "rim protector" pops out from under the ring. I haven't had one come off yet...SLW's or DH2's.

I had the same issues with the WB being short with the T1E links in the front and back, it measured 12"wb with 3 1/2in shocks and 4"inch shocks

Try putting a 1/8 inch spacer on the screw for the rod end at the axle. It pushes the whole chassis and all forward. I think it is made that way so you put a spacer in. That way if you get told the wheelbase is to long just take the spacer out no cutting rod ends.

Great Idea Bryan "thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

OK cut all four Boss Claws tonight and that's alot of wasted lugs "thumbsup"

Cut every third row of lugs

Fronts are cut even across from side to side
Rears are cut staggard across from side to side

Look what the mailman had for me today

Now I need Berg gears for both front and rear cases cause the stockers were a little beat up and I dont want to trash anything with the power these 35t Broods will give me. If anybody has some new stock gears please let me know. JPH was out of stock and Im ready to build this thing

Found and ordered all new gears. TCS had them all in-stock "thumbsup"

As soon as they're here they will be drilled and the building will really begin

Thats great, I always check TCS first.

Probably have your parts in just a few minutes. They ALWAYS ship very fast.

So this time next weekend...........................
