Well, I'm working on some rebuilding of my flatbed.
I got the GCM metalhead axles, SDS super 300's, VP 8 degree knuckles and tranny housing, full of Robinson gears, Egressor's zero slop spools in the rear, Mounted my springs separately and got some RC4WD scale shocks which I modded. I boerd the piston holes a little and put all different o-rings. Which seems to be working great. I may need a lighter wt. oil. I did some new tube work and a new metal chassis pan and a home made tranny plate. Re did my shock mounts. Not to mention a new body. Oh, and I have some new rims coming too. It's been fun but I still need to do a just little tweeking, I need to work on the body, clean everything up good, and I need to paint everything up once I'm think I'm done. Did a decent test drive yesterday and I'm very pleased so far.
Thanks to all the venders and all the builder for all the inspirations.

Well, I'll post more when I get the painting done and new rims and tires.

wow, this is a really well done rig. Full dual exhaust, etc, wow! Nice full cage work also! Fantastic!
Must be great to get all the axle weight back also, balances out the rig nicely.

Oh yeah, she'll never really be done. My run times are pretty good with my older battery. An hour or so just bouncing around the yard. I'm expecting the new one to be about the same.
I just drove to West Virginia for work, so when I get home I'm tearing her down and painting. I did bring it with me. Might find some fun spots while I'm here.

Needs bigger tires, those axles will drag on the rocks too much, just like 1:1 14bolt/60 setup. Great looking tube work though!!"thumbsup"

Actually I was running the baja claws and I liked the look. That's where I'm going to get different rims. They rub bad with the VP knuckles. I'm going back to the taller 1.9's

Got her painted up. Still tweeking the shocks a little, they don't leak now but the o-rings are almost too tight.
Beefed up my links as well. New rims, from Mayhem and new Iroks. Anyhow.....here ya go.
