Hulksta Berg w/DeLux precision

Take a pic of your smash job. I have successfully got fxr's very small with cap
Same here.. I went searching for pics, but I guess some pics don't last.. Or Tapatalk is hiding them..

Stacked, pins removed, pins cut, back to back.. Lol.. There are lots of ways.. And they all start by decasing them.. :)

I always used a singles 25v cap, between the 2 fxr's. Which made 4s OK!

When i was running fxr. I set them on top of each other. In a line. On a rowdy racing motor mount. Battry wire was soldered to the first fxr then a tiny sectiom of the wire shield was stripped so in could solder to the next fxr. I hope that makes sense.

Another guy in my club is running fxr the are mounted side by side and then basically hot glued to the back of his front motor.
You need to run at least one cap.

Howdy

Lots o sh!t going on right now. Too much so to be having any fun with this.
Suffice to say, it's toned down some. But a few other changes are in store.

This rig has been apart and put together twice since I posted last.
I struggled with the electronics a bit, but I think I have something I can run with.
Photobucket is not cooperating so I can't share any pics. I have some of the skins on too. I ran a couple pacs thru it in the back yard. Might want a little stiffer spring in the front....or maybe some 70 wt oil...doesn't return very well...

Crawls ok for first time on some rocks...

Maybe pb will work now

Looking good Greg! Nice to see it come to life.

Hey pal, what oil weight did u put in your "in board" shocks?

I was thinking about 50 or 60wt...

Envoyé de mon LG3 avec Tapatalk

Finally i think it will be more like 10k-15k diff oil for the inboard...

I've been running 20k in mine for the best part of a year.

I've recenty received the dual shock mounts. So I'll be interested to see how 2x 20k shocks work.

Went with 120k diff oil... Very smooth setup... 1 with the oil, the other with the internal spring...

My bet is it won't be 20k....
I'd really like to put this on some rocks and see what shakes down....totally new concept for me. Hope to find some time soon.

Thanks for sharing everyone's set up..."thumbsup". We're liking that

Got some time this morning to tidy up the shop a bit
And try to finish up a few loose ends....maybe more on that later

Took a shot or two after seating the electronics and then trying to hide it

i know this is 4 yrs old, but just wanted to say nice work. that thing is mint.

how did it comp?
radio used?

Considering making my berg bigger.

Hey man....you brought back some memories here...."thumbsup"

Thanks for the kind words... I didn’t ever fit with the MOA crowd when I was in the Bay Area, probably my fault, but I never comped it. It did crawl over everything I put it up against though. I loved it!

Long story short, I moved to Oregon, MOA folks are in Washington for the most part...not much action happening locally. I have since sold it.

Oh, and I ran a Futaba 3PK. I really enjoyed the build...it was way out of my comfort zone

Lot's of bling bling right there!
The car looked great!
Too bad you didn't comp with it....
